The tomahawk steak looked great on the burger as an absurd picture, but I can't imagine many people actually enjoying attempting to eat it. But maybe it's the sort of thing you do with a few friends and cut it down to sharing size? Look at it like a funny challenge/experience to do with people you like. I really like sandwiches that care about balance, contrast, and ratios.

I always wish Mike would venture out of London (especially North). London is great, but it is very much in it's own bubble and self absorbed. The best food is definatley outside of it. London does everything to a decent level but it's a jack of all trades and a master of none. Londoner's will argue that it's because of the wide range of diversity (which they do have), but every town and city in the UK is diverse, and yet outside London places manage to create unique dishes that you only get in that particular town or region. And usually it blows the dick off anything London can offer. It's like only eating food in NYC and then saying it's a tour of US food.

Mike had said in a past video that he tried places before filming it for us so it makes sense that he would like the food. He said if it wasn't good, then he wouldn't film it. He isn't out to ruin someone's place just bc he doesn't like their food. Different taste for different folks so other people may like it. It's totally possible to like many different preparations as ONE of the best. I have that issue myself!

Fresh frozen is a thing in the food industry. All the seafood you can buy whether it's local or not is by law flash frozen to kill parasites before it's sold to you, it's usually done on the boat that caught the seafood before it ever even docks. Unless you caught it yourself it's never completely "fresh".

It Amazes me how much food this dude can eat in one day especially in a short amount of time. You would think he'd be either 300 lbs. Or a body builder with all he can skarf down. On another note: it makes me feel some type of way when I see such large platters and portions that we get to enjoy while so many ppl in the world are food insecure and malnutritioned. I think of how much excess we take in and how that affects the resources we have on this planet. We over farm, fish, etc and its all to be gluttonous and selfish. We'll have to take account of this much sooner than later bc the effects are really showing themselves over the past few decades. What will remain in another 20 years?

@@xScreamToRisexif you eat ground beef from the super market yes... But if you take a cut of meat, that you can eat rare, alice off the edges and then grind it it's perfectly safe to eat, as anything dangerous lives on the surfaces.

I’m from wales but I’ve lived in the midlands for most of my life and I can sadly confirm that food in the UK is indeed terrible compared to the majority of other European countries. Food often isn’t very fresh.. fairly processed, expensive, often underwhelming.. of course you’ll find the odd spot that tastes fantastic, especially if you have money as with most countries, but go to Spain or France ( of which I am half French) and tell me that poor food in the UK is a myth, when you’ve got 15 euro menu del dia (Spain) or menu du jour (France), that quite frankly knock the majority of food places in the UK out of the park.
