My phobia of arachnids is weird. I'm afraid of common house spiders. But I'm not afraid of tarantulas the biggest of siders. My reason is, house spiders are fast, fun fact Tarantulas movement speed is determined by there body temperature which is determined by the temperature of the air around them and Tarantulas live in normally very hot places like jungles or deserts which are normally at at least 80° to 100°. So at room temperature 72° they are slow as heck.

Also,you guys are just as lucky as i am,that you have watched it before having it reuploaded by him. YT sent a fuckin Age Restriction on the video because of the fact that he used the actual suit of the Wing Diver which,turns out to be sexist or dunno,and the fact that the Wing Diver,being stuck in the web makes noises that are like...moaning,just made YT angry,so he needed to cut out that one scene and reanimate all the cutscenes where Wing Diver was in her OG suit,into a student-sorta uniform. So honestly,massive props to Badger for doing all of these and....a huge mf middle finger to YT for being a snowflake

There'll be a new EDF game this year (EDF 6). So for the folks who wants to try I suggest that you wait till the release of EDF 6 for more updated gameplay. EDF 5 was such a big improvement on game mechanics (debatable on the story side though) that Wing Diver, Air Raider, and Fencer feels like a whole new classes of its own. Can't wait for the EDF 6 PC port for new story and gameplay overhaul.

I was on one of the last deployments in Afghanistan and I must say when the country actually needs our help I get why we are there. When we pulled out of Afghanistan the way we did, it pissed off so many vets and active members because what were we actually fighting and dying for? I agree that we shouldn’t be policing the entire world. That being said, every withdrawal should be well planned and precisely executed.

If you like the Army vs Dragons concept, you should add the anime GATE to the channel watch list (not Stein’s Gate, just GATE). A full JSDF isekai and reverse isekai that’s tons of fun with fantasy world soldiers reacting to modern military. There’s two seasons out now with a third on the way.

just keep in mind, the author is extremely nationalistic, and a bit xenophobic. so, it doesn't treat Non-Japanese people particularly well. I believe it was toned down a bit, in the anime, and especially the Dub, but... it is definitely there.

The reason why America’s budget is so big is one word: Maintenance. It’s literally against Federal law to have fewer than I think it was nine aircraft carriers, and at least four MUST be deployed/ready to deploy within a few days. Modern equipment and technology is not cheap to build and maintain. And keep in mind we are the most technologically advanced armed forces in the world. Not to mention our military does a LOT outside of just fighting which also isn’t cheap. So our budget whilst massive (and could be tuned down) is NOT unnecessary. We could be like Russia and completely ignore maintenance and updating equipment but uh, well, Ukraine…

Hilariously, it was a very similar video from a few years ago that convinced me to buy EDF 5, and even now, it was WELL worth the money I paid. The games are a DELIGHT, and the video I’m talking about is “The Earth Defense Force Experience” by “cornholepatrol”. Beforewarned though if you decide to try other games in the series. Avoid “EDF: Iron Rain”, because it was made by a company that were SO DAMN STUPID that they not only took out the ragdoll physics and the gigantic mass of weapons, but they decided that “Crazy Japanese Arcade-style Shooter” needed to be changed to “gritty and serious like the Gears of War franchise”.😑 Yes. Freaking REALLY. Avoid Iron Rain at all costs.

Iron Rain>5 and that is a straight up vaild opinion. Iron Rain didn't remove ragdolls at all, in fact they're more common than ever. 5 is a straight up slog and I have never wanted something to end so badly.

@@wesleyward5901 1. I have played EDF Insect Armageddon, EDF 4.1, and EDF 5. The maps on Iron Rain was only 1/4 the size on these previous titles. 2. Again I have played all these EDF games on all difficulty level specially on Inferno level. Unlike in Iron Rain where the enemy AI always prioritize and target the player. On all these past titles the NPC is usefull enough to buy you some time specially on EDF 4.1 where the NPC can actually save your ass and complete the Inferno level without you doing anything. Unlike in Iron Rain where the NPCs can't even kill a decent amount of enemies and always ended up being slaughtered. 3. You are a member of this military organization and they want you to pay for using these military vehicles? How stupid is this game mechanics? Specially when you ended up spending all your money on buying a new weapon and you failed a mission without picking up anything making you broke. Glad to know you have fun playing Iron Rain. But that doesn't make it a good game. The lack of players in its multiplayer mode when I played it last July 2022 is a testament on how bad the game is. Meanwhile I played EDF 4.1 yesterday where I originally started playing it in 2017. There are more than 1 page of active lobby like the game was just released on PC yesterday. I have played with a lot of new english speaking players with less than 300 hp, maybe this video enticed a lot of english speaking people to try the game and they were very active in using the in game voice chat.

While you were talking about the military spending i had a thought that the doctrine was similar to the UKs two power standard in which before ww1 we had a policy of being able to fight the next two largest naval powers at the same time without being outnumbered. So maybe the idea is that the US government operates on a similar policy of needing to be able to fight off as many countries as possible at once without having to skimp out on any area of conflict.

Don't worry about Toho, even they hate that little shit. Synopsis: A giant gate to another world opens up in the middle of Japan, and they're immediately attacked by a bunch of fantasy monsters and medieval knights. So after clearing up that mess, the Japanese army, the JSDF, take all of their tanks, planes and guns, goes into the gate, and rain hell on the idiots who attacked them. Granted, it is blatant JSDF propaganda, but it's also stupid fun!
