After spending 2 days with friends in Tomar, we visited Figueira da Foz for 4 days, a beach city in Portugal. We had to get 2 trains from Tomar. We had lots of bbqs for dinner, went for a long walk along the windy, cold beach and complained a lot about the grey weather... the usual.
We'll be visiting Figueira da Foz again in warmer seasons, but I don't think it's where we'd like to live, also being a coastal town - no farms.
