This chanting is gracious and beautiful. Thank you most kindly. May God and his Birthgiver protect and cherish you and all whom you love. Best wishes from the Netherlands.
The Virgin's name is Mary. She deserves our deepest love and respect and reverence as Mother of Jesus. "Birthgiver" what is that? She was born human without original sin and she is a person, a woman, Blessed by God and Holy, deserving of love and respect and because of her fiat, Jesus came to be and loved and saved us all. She is our Eternal Loving Mother Always.
I sang the alto part of this so many times. So it is a source of frustration to me that the alto line performance here goes flat on several occasions. Pity.
It's also way slower than it should be .. they are performing it as if it was in common time (4 4) but it is in cut time (2 2) also they are performing it at 86 bpm at the beginning and the minimum start is 88 bpm my choir does it at the maximum of 96 bpm... Also it is supposed to be leggiero at the "sancta maria mater dei" and they did get faster but they only got faster to the speed they should have started and then slowed back down even though you shouldn't
@@skyrimdovah420 And you know this how? Take a look at the 1572 printed edition of Victoria's Ave Maria, there are no indications of tempo or dynamics, it wasn't done back then: imslp.org/wiki/Special:ReverseLookup/106030
@@52vepr because I have the arrangement that they were performing and have performed it myself... the arrangement they did is literally written in cut time 😂
