Thanks for the 6th Ed content. Just a few rules errors: 1) Tomb Princes/Kings can only cast 2 out of the 4 incantations (The movement one and the shooting/attack in combat one) 2) No Saveing throw against stone throwers 3) Liche Priests cast their incantations at a power level of 2d6. 4) Cold Ones are M7, not 8. 5) Repeater crossbows suffer -1 to hit for multiple shots. 6) Skirmishers can't march and shoot. 7) Undead cause fear and you need to take a fear test to charge them. Always great to see more 6th edition. TK did well for picking up an unfamiliar army. Minor corrections: 1) Dark elves get +1 to their casting rolls. Don't think it ever mattered but was never counted. 2) Shades losing their combat against the catapult crew should have autobroken due to being outnumbered by a fear causing unit. 3) The TK BSB unit losing combat by two should have only crumbled one wound as the effect of the battle standard is to crumble less (since they don't roll break test to get rerolls on)
It was great fun figuring out how to maximize the ease of guessing ranges. Firing the guess weapons first and mentally mark distances made things easier. Funnily enough coming from a metric country I played this game so long that I can guess imperial measurements better than metric.
The underdog druchii need some help! Here is a list I recommend you try. I used this one in a tournament back in the day and won every game. The 2 Nobles on foot were mounted in chariots and endeavoured to charge together. BOOM! Lol. Nice 6th edition battle, minor correction: 1) For as long as the casket of souls is in the table enemy wizards suffer a -1 to their castings spells, cant cause an irresistible force to miscast (Rule: Spirit Souls) 2) In this edition when you lose a combat resolution against a unit that causes fear, if the outnumber you, you tun away automatically
I like Tomb Kings, beautiful army but rather weak one if you don't know how to specifically play them. If you want to play skieles put at least 30 so they have chance to block in combat for the rest of the game eventually, less number have good chance to be shooted out, same with Tomb Guard. Light cavalry is just bad, you saw it, shooted out in one turn. Go for carrions and scorpions to deal with bolt throwers and crossbowmen. 6 Ushabti is rhe minimum. BSB is useless in this army, another lich with magic much better option. Chariots are powerful if there are more models, 2x4 is good option. Would like to see a revange 😀
