This is the original Dos version released on PC back in 1996. The PlayStation version had the soundtrack but no ambience, however the PC version had the ambience but no music. Hope this helps.

Same here! As a tween, I had to crank Avril Lavigne with the game itself muted just to play.

I used to watch my mom play this for hour’s. She beat all the older game’s. Never scared me. I was probably around nine or ten. I just bought the remastered 1-3 Croft games for the Nintendo switch. It was released on vday 😊

You Just Read This Most of the game xD A lot of the platforming and shooting was straight forward but there were some pretty ambiguous puzzles. When I was a child, getting past the third level was a novelty. And I have only recently completed TR1 for the first time.

Wow! Well done though :) For me the hardest bit of the game was Natlas Mines, just so many puzzles to solve!

You Just Read This Yes, that level was a nightmare for me lol, I had no idea what I was supposed to do and had to use a walkthrough in the end to complete it. A lot of the stuff in the atlantis part of the game confused me a lot too. Mind you though, I got stuck at some parts of St Francis' Folly. It's one of the more challenging games I have played before. TR2 was pretty challenging too, that was really good but I hate the underwater ship area with a passion and swimming away from the sharks was pretty intense. The amount of times I got killed by the sharks trying to swim to surface was ridiculous.

40 Fathoms level? Yeah the diving levels in TR2 weren't easy. The storyline is pretty cool, that ship in the sea actually plays a big part in the TR2 story.

+Rich Reed There was a need for the average gamer, but tartancroft has revised each level before he's recorded it and not to forget he's rather talented too by the looks of thing, he's makes it look easier than it was back then :)
