I just had a dream where I was in the middle of the street than suddenly I was in a martial arts gym, than wondered how I got there and just left. I remember telling them that I suddenly feel like I’m lost and I don’t know why I’m here and left, than I woke up.
I grew up watching my dad play all the classic tomb raider s on ps one. He 100% completed while I watched with my 5 year old eyes. Watching the playthrough took me back to the good parts of my childhood. Reliving these memories with Lara really has reminded me of all she's been through. And holy cow what a journey we went through.

It's so easy to conect with this, you know. It's like a dream. Our dreams are little pieces, fragments of what we saw in the past... Shattered Memories! In Lara's case: Vilcabamba, Atlantis, Tibet, Venice... Very well done!
A brilliantly created, entertaining and spooky amalgamation of the early Tomb Raider games levels, showcasing some of the best levels, puzzles and enemies woven together with numerous extras, in a very interesting adventure! Its all really well crafted and looks like a fun playthrough as well. I love the weapons and ammo in the fancy bathroom near the beginning. Its like "Oh no! Bad guys are after me. Better get my secret, hidden high powered weapons, stashed conveniently in the upstairs bathroom!" Thanks again for another fantastic playthrough 😀👍
3 things I want to say 1. Kudos to Leoc1995 for this level 2. I love that the enemies got some familiar faces, like Lara, Winston and Pierre 3. 0:39 Why Lara is sleeping in the carpet when the bed was 3 feet from her ?
Got to admit that this one lives up to the title.. Familiar sights and places, all over the place, completely unpredictable.. chaotic, terrifying and outright "Oh now that is just not fair..!" yes.. I'm looking at the door shutting boulder runs.. A truly panic inducing mix..
The fact that people are still making TRLE levels after 20 years is testament to how great the OG Tomb Raiders were. Why they won't go back to the minimalist style of the old games is beyond me. Don't they realize going back in atmosphere isn't the same as going back in graphics? I use Unreal Engine to make games and you can pull off this and more with that engine. I can completely imagine Lara Croft using parkour in a modern iteration of the old spirit of Tomb Raider. They based Tomb Raider 1's game mechanics on Prince of Persia down to the normal jump clears two blocks and a running jump clears three. They could add running wall climbs and wall runs to pay homage to Tomb Raider's roots. I do however like how the first reboot trilogy added to that but, there was too much talking taking away from the roots. I love the first reboot trilogy to death but, it's still not the same as just you against the dark, the stage, the enemies and creepy ambient noises. The Deck/Caves of Kaliya/All Hallows and Wreck of the Maria Doria/Area 51 Echos and Heartbeat ambiences in TR2 and 3 still holds up to this day as frighteningly scary in all of the Tomb Raider music.
Wow its amazing how spooky this is even though it was created with the old time classic graphics. Congratulations to the designer for the inginious consept and thanks Steven once again for the stanning gameplay.
these games were still incredibly immersive for their earlier graphics. the sound effects were a big part of it and the little mood music bits. i remember the TR1 and getting jumped by bears or wolves out of no where and scared the heck out of me. same for those trap falls and slides, really fear inducing. i always remember the first time i got attacked by those raptors as i completely didn't expect those after i opened a new door to a different region. i remember i thought i saw something moving far off in the distance and i couldnt tell what it was at first as it was narrow shaped, until it got closer and then the sound effects went off and i freaked out that i realized it was a raptor dinosaur. lol the other huge suspense and tension area i always recall was going into that valley cavern that turns out to have the T-Rex in it. lol that was insane. i was yelling and freaking out. so fun those games, real adventures!!
My 5 year old has spent her play time tonight watching this run through. We play all the time on my PS1 and she was named Lara for this reason! Pure childhood memories playing this with my dad when I was a kid. So glad she loves it as much. Great custom level 👍🏻
This is one of the best TRLE level i have saw. It’s just AMAZING the fact that from the great wall she goes to tibet its just mind blowing! It really looks like a dream where everything seems to be normal but actually it is not! The developer is really really talented!
Excellent level with superb atmosphere and Classic TR2 vibe. This is what a haunting dream looks like for the Classic Lara. By the way love the burgundy robe. 🌹🔥
Wow! 😃😃😃😃 This is indeed the coolest Classic Tomb Raider level I’ve ever seen, so far. I have some other ideas on types on levels: ”Your bothering memories from the past, that you cannot stop dwelling on, keep bothering you, and you have to kill them with your weapons in order to forever stop remembering them.” ”You’re waiting for the next episode of a TV show that comes next week (or for the next season of your favourite TV show that comes in two years), and you long for it so much and you cannot wait, so you have to kill the waiting time with your weapons. In other words, kill, the so called waiting time creatures.”
@@stevenPCGaming Yeah, but it’s that I, Jfso Loasjd, have a favourite TV show in real life. that is being aired now (now that I post this comment) with one new episode every week, and it is clear with a new season in two years, and I long for it so much and I hate waiting/having to wait for it. That’s why I want something when you fight the waiting time. The waiting time for all the upcoming episodes of this season and the next season that comes in two years, that waiting time is currently my worst enemy.
Wow, that was extremely impressive. Hats off to the highly talented creator. It is whacky, and brilliant at the same time, i love how the levels of the classics seamlessly blend into one another. Must rank as one of the best TRLE, definitely top 10. It makes me yearn for a proper remake of TR2, which, to me at least is the best of the lot.
Another thing... I really hope your channel continues to grow a whole lot more after this. You deserve it 👏 and this is yet another awesome and amazing video! It's almost like Lara Croft is going through each world in one video; the places she's traveled to in the previous or original Tomb Raider 2. I am yet another fan favorite of these games and I wish I had them and I'd much rather watch your videos than watch other people's. Keep up w/ the awesome, awesome content, Steven!
The headless jade gunslingers... I like it. I especially liked the eagle boss at the end. Very creative with the detailed white feathers and the focused eyes. Cheers!

Okay, those headless statues w/ those huge rifles shooting at Lara Croft are super creepy as fuck! It's no wonder Lara Croft is in therapy and as if it wasn't already creepy and scary enough when in the original Tomb Raider 2 those guys w/ the huge rifles coming after at night at the Opera House and in Home Sweet Home but they just had to make them and other enemies here even more scary! I think Lara's going to need therapy for the rest of her life!
