I don't know why TROAD was a flop! I mean, I just love it!! It's my favorite tomb raider, and i have played all of them!

This is my most memorable track in AOD. Of course it is memorable mostly for the sheer frusttration of trying to complete the level, unbelievably difficult camera angles coupled with fiddly controls made it near impossible.

i actually do not give a rat's ass what anyone says about this game - i fucking loved it. i know that people keep talking about how it didn't "feel" like tomb raider, but i loved how fresh it felt, especially with all of the cityscapes, and the genetic engineering, and the scary villains, and running from the cops, and just the whole gritty atmosphere. i like the whole "raiding tombs" thing, i do, but honestly, i was pretty sick of running through cave #46755654 and collecting gold ornament #475684756. there are only so many times that we can shamble around south america looking for Ancient Artefact X before it gets dull. the scenery was getting samey and the stakes weren't high enough, but this game pulled it out of the bag with the storytelling. i love the direction that core design tried to take with this game, and the attempt to modernise the franchise. basically, this game felt fresh, and i completely get where core was going with it. if they had been given time to polish it, it could have changed the entire trajectory of the franchise. as it stands, i'm still a Lara stan, but the most recent couple of games have been total shite for me. i couldn't care less about them; they feel soulless and shiny. this game is really where it was at and basically if you try to convince me that this game is not excellent i will fight you.

TUUUUUUNE! I'm reading a lot of the comments and I'm glad to see that a lot of people agree that this was a great game with it's only flaws being the steering and loading times. It was such a new world to see Lara in which I remember being so excited! And perhaps the only love interest? Can't wait to play this when I get home, I was gifted it on PC for Christmas woohoo! Love this song.

Probably the best Tomb Raider game to me. Such a fantastic game and beautiful OST. And obviously the vibe!

lol most of my time was spent re-entering rooms just to get as many health packs as possible. Those loading times were a pain, but I miss the hell out of this game.

Two Words - CULT CLASSIC!. I remember fucking loving this game as a kid (as much as the controls pissed me off at 1st , till I got better at it) it had an atmosphere and interesting story as well as gameplay that fits the vibe It couldn't be compared with any other game when I 1st played it at the time. I think it's the most underrated Tomb Raider game out there. Many fans where sort of disappointed or pissed off when this came out because they felt the formula was to similar to the old and obviously for the ps2 they wanted a new sort of Tomb Raider experience. However I think it has a fucking unique quality to it that I still love till this day. It's mad to think that this game was the one that nearly killed the franchise haha.

The music playing while I played the first level I got stuck for so long in this TR game hahaha🤣❤️. Haunting as I climb over the lighting. If only Core Design were given another chance before, Tomb Raider might still be better than it is today. I’m sure Crystal Dynamics has tried its best as well to make more Tomb Raider games (well of course they improved more stuff), but with their concept of Tomb Raider Survivor Timeline, it feels like a drag rather than an adventure. Their first reboot (TRL, TRA, TRU) was a lot closer to Core Design’s style, but still, Core Design is still the best ❤️😭. Hard puzzles, Lara’s Manual Grab and Hold on the ledge being like a life or death situation, the stories, and her fearless personality, I miss them all😭😭😭. The originals don’t even need survival instinct, because the instinct is already inside you, teaching you how to solve without relying too much on others or any kind of support. It’s only in you.😔❤️.

I looove this level so much! TRAOD has to be the best Tomb Raider eveeer. Such a shame that after this they had to change the game entirely just to please the crowd. Ugh. Why wouldn't they just continue the original story, goddamit.

I never thought that a Tomb Raider game would have music so...funky and hip as this in it. Guess I was wrong. And after listening to this, I'm glad I was wrong.

In my opinion, this was the best game of all Tomb Raider games and I've played them all. Okay it had glitches, and the controls weren't the best but the storyline, the new movements and everything was what inspired Crystal Dynamics today. This was an era for all the other Tomb Raider games that came afterwards.

Some times I wonder how amazing this game would have been if it had got the time needed to be fully completed and not rushed. Side note AoD is one of my favourite Tomb Raider games, i just think that it's such a shame it was left as a glitchy mess because core were rushed to release it

I just start my hobby of being a hobby DJ. I got my first equipment and now I´m searching for some music. Roughly twenty years ago I played this. Easy times, just school, some homework and walking around in Paris with Lara. :D And now I remembered this awesome track. I love all of it but the better part of this track is definetely the second half. 3:19 (most repeated part in this video no surprise :D) and repeat over and over. I still have this game in my library.

aahhhhhhh 2022 Traveling to Spain & France Recently and Visiting some Discotheques that Truly Brought back Great #Memories of Playing This AOD Level....mannnnnnn imagine if they remade this game with lara visiting it through an Active Crowd like they have DONE VERY WELL with Recent Hitman games which are huge levels with Active crowds going about their business.....Mann oh mannn id be pausing juss to take in the club scene on that level lol.......i do remember this FAvorite level of mine as i wish it had more intereactive pieaces at the time.....but at that time this game in my opinion broke Gaming boundaries that were sadly Never truly recognized.

I never finished this game because i always encountered a glitch that would require me to restart, especially since sometimes i didn't know what action caused the glitch, so i never knew what earlier save file to go to avoid it, so just restarted the game. This eventually made me get annoyed and i never completed it, which is a shame because it has a really immersing and excellent storyline

Finished or unfinished this game was brilliant, take away the flaws and tanky controls and its a perfect game perfect dark vibes and the soundtrack was amazing. A petition is needed to remake this game for sure and give us the trilogy AOD was supposed to be PLEASE!

Def liked AoD having played TR 1-4 and had no problems with glitches. Not a lot of tombs but more insane weirdos gave it a slight RE/SilentHill feel. Liked the new look, controls, loved the Paris level esp. this track.

the only flaw I had with this game was Curtis his running in the mental asylum, I never raged so hard.

Sure this game is not the best game in the Tomb Raider series, and I even beat this game (what is wrong with me?) all without pulling my hair out, this song is the best song in the whole game!
