This roleplay has the distinction of possibly the only one that acknowledges that "drider" and "arachne" are two different words that basically mean the same thing. You've been on a streak of drider roleplays this week, and I'm not complaining. It reminds me of how spiders often go into people's houses during the winter (I think?). And to be honest, Fake, I don't think I've ever been cat-called either. The closest I ever got was overhearing a random girl say I was cute to her friends one time.
Yup, I couldn't decide which spider-word to go with. So I decided "arachne" is the proper term and "drider" is more of slang. Personally I prefer drider, just like this gal.
Not to be pedantic or anything, but with my experiences in DnD - driders are just drow (AKA dark elves) that have been transformed into a hybrid of spider and drow by Lolth, the Demon Queen of Spiders. I'm almost certain this is the case since the name "drider" is basically a portmanteau of "drow" and "spider". Arachne just seems like a generic term for non-drow spider-people, like Rachnera from Monster Musume.
@@gladiatrixathena2756 The real funny part is when you realize that DnD doesn't have exclusivity on those terms 😬. Drider in one universe might be a hybrid and a spider-person (whatever they'd look like) in another 🤷♂️.
I've never cat called. And being a guy I thought that would be the end of that word. However in the last 4 years I've had girls catcall me '-' yet when I ask about numbers or a cup of coffee much like cats I'm met with blank eyes glaring at me 0.0 so I've gotta ask as degrading as it feels "What's it mean when a girl calls you (pretty)?" '-' Also loved the drider rp if I ever got the chance and choice of monster girls it would be impossible to choose between a ghost and a drider
The only reason I hate girls catcalling is because of THAT reaction. And it's universal. Every single time I've gotten a modicum of attention I got my hopes up. Without even wanting to. It just happened. If you are a girl, decided to hit on a guy and then gave him a blank stare when he reciprocated, fuck you.

✨ I’ve never blushed harder my entire life honestly I don’t mind either way if someone did compliment me in such a way being cat called and flattered is honestly super okay with me I’m barely acknowledged anyways this honestly made me feel good about myself honestly many people dont often if at all go out of their way to flatter me in public and when someone does compliment me I’m happy when they do ❤️✨
I've been catcalled once by a group of women. It took the form of: "Hey boy!" and "You're so cute!" But your Drider character is not human so she could really use any form of quirky catcalling that you imagine. I have heard a lot of idiots yelling incoherently at me from cars. I don't know how to characterise that. Also nutters who sound their car horns as they drive by.

Y'know, I've never been catcalled and im both glad and sad about that. I mean, I've been told my looks aren't bad by friends of both sexes, but not much positivity on my appearance either.
I don't find it creepy at all. In fact, when someone tells me I'm attractive, I find it flattering, even if it's an old lady. As long as nobody's being harassed or assaulted, it's all fine, IMO.
Most men are not going to mind being cat called about our looks. Men can go years at a time, without even receiving a single compliment about our looks, even from our own wives, much less anyone else. Men are starving for compliments. Any validation that we aren't ugly is valued by the majority of guys.
Yeah. It's a shame for both sides, but it's kind of funny how so many women don't like having their looks complimented, where as many men would give a kidney for just one person to say they look good.
