Wasteyard is depressing as hell, it’s like McPig is trying to remind us that everyone dies at some point. I like how Peppino is being super respectful to all the enemies and people that died though.

I just like how reasonable Peppino is made out to be, he really is just a regular guy trying to fight tooth and nail to protect his business Pizzaface set out to sabotage Even when in face of danger he still tries his best to minimize the damage he’s doing there while paying respect for the dead he’s forced to disturb even while they’re trying to murk him

The lyrics here are amazing. First, Peppino. I love how Peppino is written here, it perfectly captures that anxiety and determination that Peppino is known for in the base game. Also Peppino sounds genuinely terrifed and I fuckin love it. The Ghosts are also very good with the writing. They're not trying to kill Peppino for the sake of being evil, instead they are telling Peppino "welp, you've gone far enough, kid. Just accept what's comin' to ya". I love the neat little personality quirks you gave both characters and I hope to see more like this in the future

I love this song! It sounds so spooky. Especially the last part with the high note organ music. This is so worthy of the Halloween music collection. Plus, with an ending like the pirate just explained this is also worthy of the Luigi’s mansion series and I’ll bet the common and portrait ghosts would be excellent singer with a song like this. BRO THE GHOST CHORUS OR CHOIRS ARE THE FUCKING BEST

warning: very long critic opinion with many repeating words that you do not have to read approaching ok the video was nice and all, but looking at the background footage, did the person recording it really need to massacre everyone in the level? I recently p-ranked wasteyard, and I killed a lot of enemies, but I strategized when I should kill them, like before the second secret, I kill one mini john. same with after, so that I don’t lose my combo. but the guy recording seemed determined to kill every last enemy in the level. it’s evident even at the start of the footage, where, instead of just gliding by the first john of the level, the player deliberately jumps off of the corpseboard early and goes for the john. I didn’t think much of it at first, but they did the same with every one of the enemies. after that, they didn’t go to the first secret but instead went to kill the next john. after that, their choice to kill the two johns was fine, but instead of jumping onto the opposite wall to gain speed and reach mach 2 so they could turn around and slam into the johns, they fully went up the first wall, turned around at mach 1, jumped above the wall, and had to go all the way to the solid john blocks, turn around, and slide to gain enough momentum to kill the johns. even then, the one furthest away hit peppino after they killed the first john. then the camera cuts off to the music video art, with the player hopefully super taunting* and/or parrying any further attacks from the john so as to not lose the combo, and the rank. next, we see the player in the catacombs (that’s what I call that area of the map), going through as normal, until they run past a john, turn around, with the momentum carrying them over the edge and causing them to slam into the wall, they jump over the wall and instead of super taunting* when the john was in range, they spent even more precious time running over to grab the john, which could have killed their combo. as the gameplay doesn’t seem to progress much further past the treasure, and there aren’t any more things for me to complain about like a whiny toddler, my unnecessarily long critique is over. if you read, why’d you bother bro? *I understand they may need the supertaunt for later, it’s just my thoughts on the matter
