I'm from Derry. I've watched him many years ago and have read and seen his career. A true Celtic legend. God bless him and his family. The whole Celtic faithful were his family and will always be. CMON THE HOOPS. RIP TOMMY.

R.I.P Tommy Burns from an Aberdeen fan. A complete an utter Celtic legend, and legend of scottish football. He was everything a man should aspire to be. It brought a tear to my eye when I heard of his death. R.I.P Tommy, although all of us know, you are immortal.
good to see the the thistle number 9 there .total respect for a good man ,a great footballer, and a decent christian.remember him at firhill i think it was glasgow cup 1981 signed autographs for everyone .
As a celt i feel blessed with the plethora of amazing people associated with our club and our history, no one but tommy could be number 1 on that list, i was 6 years old when tommy passed, i never understood why, but i always remember the respect, the love and the praise other people on both side of the divide had for tommy, through the years i've watched clips of tommy singing mac the knife, twisting and turning, giving interviews, talking to fans, all the while being the same ordinary guy from the calton that just happens to play for celtic, he had the same sort of relationship with fans as you will see in a Hollywood movie, no one ever has or ever will embody the ethos and morals of celtic over a lifetime than tommy burns☘
Absolutely loved Tommy burns ,he was Celtic through n through, respect to mc'coist n Walter Smith, when Tommy burns died they two were hurt big time.💚💚💚

Wonderful, I love this song, if only Tommy had taken precautions re the sun when he was playing football, then maybe he would have lived longer, someone said he tragically died of melanoma- a lethal form of skin cancer, with special risks to red haired people, who don't make melanin. He was a wonderful man, and sorely missed.
