When I was a kid, I saw Tommy Davidson on a lot of late night talk shows, and I don’t even know whether I had watched any of his tv or movie work. I just grew a liking of him from his personality and comedy during these late night appearances. Tommy Davidson is so underrated.

Perhaps the funniest stand up show I have ever seen, was Tommy Davidson at the Strand, in Redondo Beach, back in the late 80's or early 90's. He had the audience in the palm of his hand, and worked that room like there was no tomorrow. Utterly hysterical. Great, great comic.
