In this clip, Tommy Davidson recounted working with 2Pac during his guest spot on ‘In Living Color’ and what that experience was like. Tommy explained how respectful and open-minded Pac was which didn’t seem to fit the gangster persona he displayed much of his career.

What I don't like about Vlad is that he has misconceptions about ghetto people. In his mind, you can only be a) an ignorant, untalented gangster, or b) an educated and talented phony, as if these two things are mutually exclusive. Vlad lacks nuance about the ghetto. He thinks in absolutes. He doesn't believe a killer can still write poetry. He doesn't believe a gang banger can still snitch and act cowardly. He doesn't believe that a "square" (non-gang banger) can still be a dangerous threat. He insinuates people like Cube and Pac aren't "real" dudes because they took art classes and didn't claim a set. Claiming a set doesn't make you a real dude, and real dudes still have the ability to artistic, intelligent, and articulate. He fails to see the complexity. Vlad is still a white kid on the outside looking in measuring what men are based on his preconceived stereotypes he got from listening to Gangster Rap.
@deenice9169
@deenice9169 2 года назад
@@sirdopaminesjournal3292 agree. He is basically those kids that were never raised around it so he is mesmerized by the “ghetto” lifestyle which he will never be apart of. You don't have to be ignorant or stupid to be a gangster... most of the time, all it takes is a bad environment, or, a bad decision, to turn someone with the potential to to do something good with their talents, into a criminal. Intelligence and knowledge, are only tools.
@bigsheed9003
@bigsheed9003 2 года назад
Some of the most intelligent and talented men I have ever met or known have been incarcerated. You right about a bad decision because anyone can get caught up. Tupac and amg came to desmoines iowa I believe it was 1991 right before tupac blew up , amg had the hit songs , amg was doing a show at this community center on 13th street , small place, I was 20 at the time, I remember seeing amg and thinking how he looked like a nerd lol, I remember talking to pac and he was a down to earth brotha, no thug in him at all, I think he was with digital underground then, I remember my cousin who was a vice lord started shit with this gd, a big ass brawl broke out and pac jumped under a table, I will never forget it

I heard that when Tupac was going to do his last movie, Gridlock'd, the producers didn't think that he and Tim Roth weren't going to get along during the movie. Turns out that he and Roth had a great working relationship. In fact, in a television interview he did a few years ago, Tim Roth talked about working with Tupac and how he admired his talent. He saw that Pac had the potential of being a real movie actor.

Tupac was just a kid to me Back then things were different.. Eli's...M Jackson, prince, Tupac ECT. All seemed larger than life and many idolized them and still do It was a rarity to see them on tv evt. Nowadays with social media we see celebrities seeming extremely human on a daily basis and we no longer put them on a pedestal the way we once did. Dude had some good songs and a few small roles were he acted decently. Other than that just a kid who died to soon

April 15, 1990: "In living Color," the brainchild of the Wayans Brothers premiered on FOX-TV. Although the show only aired for five seasons, it is historical because of its beginnings, the creators, and its content....2022...32 years later, and it made household names of all of the cast members, as well as the choreographer for the Fly girls, Rosie Perez, and one of its dancers, Jennifer Lopez/J-Lo. History. Thank you, Vlad for this interview. Blessings...

PAC’s charm and charisma was one in a million. Only a few ppl I. The world that is that unique. Some that come to mind is Jamie Fox, Kanye, Drake. Seems like in any circumstance they would become successful no matter what.
@kaekae1782
@kaekae1782 2 года назад
@@Earl_Wallace ofc Earl would respond. Drake’s charisma is why his music up until 2016 related to everybody. You can hear it in his delive try in his music. I mean why do you think for so many years he can make music for women. And Kanye has a unique character that’s different from anybody else. So he has attractive qualities that ppl are going to be attracted too because they are so extreme and different. You obviously are someone who gets your perception of ppl from social media.
