There is no reason to a go to Boston concert anymore beecause there is no Boston Boston as a band is defunct. They have not been on tour or have released an album in five years. Tommy DeCarlo has taken over as a the "leader of the band" . Tom Scholtz has retired apparently and has demonstrated by his inaction and lack of communication he is longer interested in Boston as a active band.
Tommy DeCarlo is the current lead singer of Boston since 2008. When Tom Sholtz doesn’t want to tour the Boston group, DeCarlo is the next closest thing. The rythem guitarist is Tommy DeCarlo Jr with his GF Peyton Velligan on bass. The lead guitarist is from the Dennis DeYoung band and keyboards and drums from Night Ranger.
Close. Drummer and acoustic guitar player also with Dennis DeYoung’s band. Jimmy Leahey (acoustic guitar) performed for a few years with John Waite before getting the gig with DDY. Keyboardist is Walter Ino, who has toured with Survivor and The Baby’s and also plays with Asia on occasion nowadays. He is also involved in producing, engineering and a ton of other behind the scenes music-related stuff.
