Proud to say I’ve been watching Tommy’s videos since the first one was posted. Saw him on Rudniks channel when he was buying an hvac blend door for an s13 or something. Guy went from renting a dingy ass bay in some half condemned building in Connecticut to where he is now and it’s been awesome to watch. Keep up the good work Tommy.

Always loved 33’s but there’s a lot of mental gymnastics going on when you look at prices for these JDM cars vs insert newer Porsche etc etc.

See tommyfyeah isn't always harsh, he has to look professional when talking about his cars and shop, but his youtube friends are asking for trouble if it's not to his standards. He's doing things right + entertainment value 👌

I think there is a place for a shop that targets the intermediate tier. If you charge top rates or only sell the highest end cars, your customer base may be limited. If somehow, probably through RU-vid, you let potential customers know they can get in the game at a lower level, then over time you help them evolve and eventually they may end spending the same amount overall. That way they are not hit all at once with a top of the market price. Obviously they can't roll with the highest end Nissan or Toyota to start.

When someone with money comes it's easy to take advantage. Paid 10x on that spoiler for a start. People like this with endless pockets driving up the market because they over pay without a care thinking its a flex for youtube. Maybe am wrong, who cares :)

Z Tune is very obviously more expensive and will continue to be more expensive than the 400R. It's more exclusive, more extensive, more expensive in raw materials, and more capable. Love all R33's and R34's but the Z-Tune has the 2.8 RRR block, full nismo refresh including full stitch weld iirc, carbon fiber strut towers, NISMO catalogue in mods and cooling, upgraded turbos, etc. RBX-GT2 is cool but not quite like the Z-Tune motor and the 400R doesn't have all the work that the Z-Tune has.

watching him talk about 11k headlight that are not in production anymore, got me thinking. how do you insure this thing? what if some texting and driving karen rams her tahoe into you on the public road? what insurance company would even take you on and if they do what is your premium gonna be?

I honestly don’t think this car does justice to what Tommy and his guys do. This is definitely more of a drivers car than a complete restoration like some of his customer cars. Full underbody refresh, powdercoat, bushings, paint, zinc, engine refresh, etc.

They put the RB30 in the VL Commodore and CQ Patrol so it wasn't just exclusively skyline

Beautiful car, I am that 60 year old guy, actually just shy of 58 but what’s the difference. The quiet exhaust and the turbos/tune moving the power curve 1000rpm earlier sound like perfection. The car looks absolutely stunning.

Eh, Tommy's a bit off... The Attesa system in my G35 is from what I understand pretty identical to the r32 GTR system but on a VQ instead of RB.

One thing you can say about Tommy is the level of ocd he have with his buildings , goes always overboard and it shows. Makes me sad that some of the cars i wanted to see the most he never finished ,like the Evo I.

You know you're rich when 160K isn't much. I feel like every JDM YTuber doesn't have a finger on the general populous pulse anymore, especially when they're travelling a lot, buying whatever they want, and not having to budget down to a T when it comes to food, shelter, local travel costs etc

I remember the first Skyline I ever seen was a R33 GTR and yes I fell in love instantly and all I could think is they looked timeless considering they're had released them about 10 to 12 years earlier
