Not doubting he is a nice guy, but it all seems so forced with Tommy compared to Tyson and even his Dad. Tommy doesn’t seem to execute the trash talk. When you see/hear Tyson and Dad, they are invested and confident in what they are saying. I feel Tommy doesn’t have much personality and charisma. And it shows, its just regurgitated / rehearsed nonsense. He is not even that good of a boxer. I’d love to see him and Jake fight though.

Only works when the fights are worth it, though. I have to admit that Showtime has built this card up perfectly. This is the sort of thing you would expect from Vince McMahon back in the 1990s/early 2000s when he actually cared about being a promoter (not sure if you remember, but WWE had the EXACT same sitdown-style interview and face-to-face between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker that played out very similar to this showtime segment. You should be able to look it up on RU-vid). It baffles me how everyone seems to be doing Vince's shtick better than Vince these days. Oh well, at least fans are loving it and Showtime is capitalizing on fights people are actually interested in.
