Tommy, we love your work and I think I speak for all of the fans here. There's no one here that would disagree with me. LOLI love your sense of humor your virtuosic musical skills and the way you treat other people I've spoken with so many people. One kid from Costa Rica that got to meet you. Last year in Houston, you made his entire life signed. His stuff took pictures with him. He still talks about it on Facebook. Thanks for using your God given skills to do good and bring joy to SO many people. So technically, it's us that should thank you. Love all of your work enjoying the videos. Looking forward to more. and you're welcome . But after all, it was you that got me back in the music .And I needed that.. You got a great fan club here brother I like these people A lot they are totally awesome. They also seem to have a good taste in music too . Be blessed and have a great day.

He is an incredibly nice guy. I know people who know him. I actually got to meet 2 of the band members from sabaton. They were incredible. The lead singer in basis when I made this video. Tommy sent me a really nice thank you. He also wished me a Merry Christmas on another comment I had he's an incredibly nice man. He's also the greatest overall musician of the 21st century in versatility and virtuosity.

His musicianship is just incomparable and he seems like such a nice, sweet person. If you had told me two years ago that I'd be hooked on a "metal" guy I would have told you you were crazy, but I'm definately hooked on this nice, sweet metal guy. He just has the most incredible voice! 😊

@@robinkarns7512 I think what makes him so great. Is his versatility and his virtuosity. What I mean by that is, as he can perform many styles of music, many different things. He has a great category and variety of music, and hes skilled at everything he does from vocals to the man is a demon on the guitar, and everybody I've talked to that submit him has said exactly that that hes very genuinely kind. I just made this cause I'm a musician and hes like my biggest inspiration. I love his music, hes got so many skills. Hes a demon on the guitar. And just a really nice guy and a great vocalist. A real virtuoso tenor. Great composer, arranger. But yeah, thanks for the comment. I appreciate that I like to see that it's growing. I call him the man the myth the legend. LOL. Because he really is that good By the way, I talked to a lot of people from Sweden These days and I gotta admit, I'm really liking a lot of the friendly personalities that I'm seeing coming from that place. By the way, did you notice how? I use the Swedish flag in the opening of the video and the flag filter ? I did that on purpose. I know the man is a national treasure. He seems to be proud of his country and his kinfolk which is something. I greatly greatly admire and respect.

I LOVED Golden Resurrection. That was GREAT music with a great MESSAGE. He did an instrumental piece on that, that was PHENOMENAL ( I'll try to remember and send the link), and that guitar work on SEE MY COMMANDS is some of THE BEST NEO-CLASSICAL SHRED the world has ever or will ever seen. Tommy is also a NICE guy, fun story. I saw Sabaton in concert in Houston last October. Unfortunatly I didn't get the opportunity to meet Tommy, BUT, I know two people who did. One guy has a review channel called OldSkuleNerd , nice man and great with the kids ( who were Sabaton fans) and he would take the artwork the kids made back to the band ( good soul), the other was a kid from Costa Rica who flew all the way up from Costa Rica to see Sabaton. He was with us in the morning when we got to meet Joakim and Par ( SUPER nice guys, and Joakim is hilarious, I have stories about that one later), but the young Costa Rican kid met Tommy in the afternoon. Tommy was very nice ( they all said it), signed all the kids stuff, but his arm around his shoulder and took pics with him). What a CHAMP. What a GOOD SOUL. That was what I heard. I will say this, I was listening to Sabaton long before Tommy, and listening to Tommy long before Sabaton. But I can say this, that BAND as a whole sets the GOLD STANDARD to how musicians should treat their FANS. They are GREAT PEOPLE. :) Tommy is so skilled, and what a good soul. I'll tell you the funny story later about Joakim Broden, Ikea jokes, giving a shout out to my mother and heckling her ( as a fun spirited joke), and signing a picture of some dude's cat from the stage. LOL.

I got to see them in Dallas right after Tommy joined the band. (Another God moment because I was already going to be in Dallas anyway for Stryper a couple of days later!) I was friends with him on Facebook and I kept saying I'll see you in Dallas! Tommy was an absolute sweetheart. I was wearing a ReinXeed shirt and I got right up in front and he saw the shirt and the look on his face... he gave me a fist bump and he kept interacting with me. I went to meet them by the bus afterwards. He was so nice and we talked for a minute but I just lost it. I just couldn't talk 😅 totally star struck but I recovered enough to talk some more. Absolutely the sweetest man. Got to see Sabaton here in San Antonio the next time and another time in Dallas.

@@nonnie_loest I hate you. LOL (not really, I am Obviously Joking, SO jelly!!) hahaha. ( you seem awesome!) That's SO FREAKING COOL!!! I have always wanted to see Styper in concert, but never did. I was driving back from my moms place in Florida to my home here in South Texas, and saw they were playing at a Casino in Louisiana, but I couldn't hang out that long in the area. That said, I did come back from an YNGWIE MALMSTEEN concert a few weeks back, and that was AWESOME!!! Haven't been able to stop playing my Axe since then. I made it right up to the front row, and he went silent for a moment. I did not want to distract the Maestro, but I had to yell out a comment about how he was my greatest guitar idol since I was 16. I saw a big smile creep across his face, and he looked up right at me and game me a "rock and roll power fist". I wanted to CRY. My emotions were SO high. I was going nuts. LOL. Totally inspired. By the way, Par Sundstrom and Joakim Broden, are also REALLY SUPER NICE people. Love those guys. I asked Jocke if he would give a shout out to my mom on a recording I was making on the phone. He did, he called her out by NAME then jokingly shamed her for not being at the show, acted like he was crying and his feelings were hurt. It was HILARIOUS. He had the crowd laughing, everyone who saw it laughed, and just took to the guy immediately. When that happens, I send the people to the bands Websites , RU-vids and Merch sites. Those men deserve EVERY GOOD THING that happens to them. No lie. :)

@@Yarrg Tommy is a really lovely guy, had the chance to have a chat with him after the show in Arvika (that's sweden) in february (he also borrowed my santas hat for Christmas Truce) so when he recognised me after the show he just gave me the biggest of hugs and he was just sooo nice to talk to and really thanked me for letting him borrow that hat even though I was more than a little confused trying to get my head together and I also told him I'm a regular in the friday chat during his premieres. Yea so he is just the nicest guy. I just can't state enough how much I respect him as a musician and as a person.

A few years ago, as a new christian i was looking for some christian metal to listen to and Golden Resurrection was the first band i listened to and where i found Tommy. Been listening to him ever since.

He has a natural god-given gift. He's developed all of his skills. He's an incredible musician and he's a super nice guy. Thanks for watching the video. It was just a personal tribute. I made to him because he's been such an inspiration to my own music. He's the best. Oh, and I heard that savaton's working on a new album. I guess I'll have to go back and see if them in Houston I actually met 2 of the members too. The lead singer and the basist. Let me tell you they are all very, very nice people. They have never let their success get to their head. They are just very down-to-earth, sweet-natured people intelligent fun and great with the fans.

I love it when he throws in the humorous stuff, like Moustache, and have you seen his video called "Say Mama" on his Christmas stuff? That one had me ROLLING laughing. I didn't understand the story behind that, untill a few really kind souls from Sweden actually came on the threads and explained the back story to that. LOL

@@Yarrg Yes, there is a lot of humor and thought behind his work! 😂 Of course, as a Swede, I know where he got the idea for Say Mama! Have seen Sabaton 5 times and Majestica 1 time in the last year and they are just as good every time. Majestica with Tommy as singer was absolutely magical! SO many nice folks in your BEAUTIFUL country. :) I LOVE Majestica, I REALLY liked that album they did The Christmas Carol ( one of my favoriten works of literature, and Christmas stories). I always thought Majestica should do a Power-Metal Opera based off the Count of Monte Cristo. The musical potential of that, in use of thematic elements, variations, and overture, would be amazing. Dude, you are going on the Sabaton Cruise?? I'm so jealous, bro, that's awesome. Hope you have a great time. I don't speak Swedish, so I might feel a little lost on that one, hahaha. I did actually get to hang out ( with a few other fans) with Joakim after the show for about 20 minutes. Side note, he and Par are awesome with the fans. :) Joakim is a very genuinely fun, funny, happy soul who was GREAT with the fans. Par came out a bit later, and was friendly signed everyones stuff, took selfies with us but Joakim was telling jokes, and teasing folks, and just having a lot of fun with us. SABATON is the GOLD STANDARD for how Bands should treat their fans. Couldn't stop bragging them up after I met those two and saw it first hand. They are kind people, gracious , humble, and absolutely MIND BLOWING in their concerts ( as you know). :) Yeah, "Say Mama" saw that one 12 times, then I heard about the Christmas show in Sweden with the toys marching into the bag. LOL I was so lost untill then, then it was explained to me. LOL

Hey, thank you, I appreciate your comment your input. Thanks for supporting the greatest musician. Of the 21st century and a heck of Nice guy, I'm throwing up some videos now. I'm making called Tommy Johansson song ideas. He covers some great stuff. Great-great stuff, I myself was always really strong in music history. I've had a lot of exposure to a lot of music 70s. Light pop 80s, hair band classical music Jazz standards. I was a music historian so I'm going to start putting out these small videos of ideas for songs that he may want or may not so pass them on. I think he should cover everything I do I do it for you by Bryan Adams from Robin hood Prince of thieves, wouldn't that be an awesome one just an idea?

I think I can chime in on this one I love the first soldier by dabaton period but 1 of the things that I noticed right is that the first soldier has a bagpipe field period there are 2 parts to a bagpipe 1 is called the drone that is the note that is continuous right, it just drones stays the same. The others called the chant. It placed the melody over it period what time you're playing here is a Swedish pop song from the 90s called Highland so it has the bagpipe feel written into the sense. the first soldier is also sort of a warrior field where the melody seems to be influenced by the bagpipe, so they Are modeled around the concept of a bagpipe. Also, do not forget that all musicians are influenced by other musicians. So this song is older. We don't know, but I'm sure that many songs are gonna be influenced by other songs. Somehow some way. But this song is an old Swedish pop hits from the 90s. I believe by a band called one more time. Whereas to the first soldier just came out, so we don't know. Maybe the for soldier was influenced by one more time. Or maybe they were both just Modeled after bagpipes period your point is noted, though, and you're not the first to make it. But remember, even yohan Sebastian bought took his ideas from other musicians before him. Like pacabell and Buxtahude and Vivaldi.

@@Yarrg oh yeah the part with the inspiration is unquestionable. There are always themes and melodies that are influenced by something the composer have listened in the past (not always of course). And I am not saying it in a bad way by any means. It was just something that I noticed as I was listening :)

This happens a lot actually. My brother and I are both musicians that we had this interesting. Because now a lot of the RU-vid artists that are excellent musicians are actually covering things and making them better than the originals period Tommy is Exhibit A on this most stuff he does are actually better than the originals.
