This awesome song has gotten a brand new refreshing cover by Tommy Johansson but that is not all. Tommy made this cover as a tribute to his late friend that passed away recently. This is a tribute to honor his memory and this cover hit me STRAIGHT in the heart.
I feel sad, empty, yet very happy inside when I heard this cover. It really got the emotional side of me.

Tommy is like an angel out of this world. Me my self have played bass, guitar, drums and singing since I was 7 years old now I am 53. I am pretty good at what I do but not even close to Tommy. He is so gifted. All he touch become gold. I have always said a song become better with a distored guitar. Tommy show us time after time that I was right. He make already great songs even better. His voice I have no words for. the register is totally crazy. I thought in my younger years I could sing high notes ( yes I could) But as I said Tommy is out of this world. I can only be thankful for all this great music he bless us with. And man I have cried many times when listen to Tommy. As a musician my self I can really understand how one of a kind this guy are.

Actually Jonatan died first when he saved Skorpan from the fire, and a little time after that Skorpan died of the TBC and they reunited in Njangiala

Christian surely loved this song, i know that. Tommy even came to Christian's funeral and sang Soldier of Fortune by Deep Pruple. It was beautiful, and i bet Christian was happy to have Tommy as a friend. Sucha humble man

By far Tommy's best cover so far (and he have done many good covers). IMO all the emotions he puts into it (anger, sadness, grief) from loosing his friend and recording this song as a tribute is what makes this cover so much better then the others. It's personal and when it's personal I think he subconsciously put a little extra effort into to it to not let his friend down. On top of that Tommy is a very skilled musician with a majestic voice and vocal range.

I don't know if you know this, but Christian's brother Calle is Tommy's former bandmate from Reinxeed and Christian even sang backing vocals on their album Majestic. I knew about Calle, but only realized that about Christian yesterday as I was checking something about the album and I immediately got cold shivers. RIP

Such a hard-hitting song. The passion and talent of Tommy just amplify it all millionfold. He's such a beautiful musician. When you know why he's singing it as well, it brings up so much more emotion. We were all in tears when this was released. This cover is so awesome and your reaction so true, so emotional. I've lost my mom in 2015, I was only 22 and this cover by Tommy (and the song So Far Away by Avenged Sevenfold) makes me cry every time. I offer you my condolences for the loss of your best friend and every people you could have been lost. I know it's not a lot but it's from my heart

It is an amazing song and cover by Tommy. It must be unbeliavably hard to lose a dear friend so early. I lost family members too so I can relate, but losing a friend is also probably a lot different. I feel for Tommy on this one. Such a beautiful tribute to him ❤

Oh Giventoe. I think whatever Tommy sings is amazing but this especially. Simon and garfunkle was my mother's favourite duo. He as done it justice. My mother died in 2007 from a brain tumour so I can relate to him dedicating this song. I get very emotional hearing this song too. No one can turn the clock back and we have to carry on the best we can. Lovely reaction mate 👌 LOVE IT

Hi mate I played this on Easter Day which was the anniversary of my mums death, was such a fitting song to play that day. I actually had it on repeat until I fell asleep……. My mum was my best friend, she was only 47 when she passed away from cancer and I was just 18
