@@impresssed1213 Etiquette and manners, social norms, practical reasons and social signals . General guideline is to remove a hat indoors to show respect and proper etiquette. Probably the most valid one- a grown up man behaving like a 9 year old one looks silly.
@@shapursasan9019 he don't lack talent but he lacks concentration, patience and self belief. He had a great junior career. It's just he lost the direction and focus for a while after turning pro
Shame about his girlfriend who is not interested in tennis or his game at all even when he played against Carlitos. The phone seems to be more important to her than anything else.
@@NanaNanene-rw2wd I hated it I truly hated it Carlos box was on fire and fist pumping and above all carlos fist pumping on Tommy's face god I was crying. I was like people in Tommy's box are even alive ? Guy lacks confidence to begin with and the box should often cheer him.
@@DharaniManohar Pros is a whole ‘nother world. Many junior superstars don’t amount to anything once they turn pro. He’s done incredibly well just to get to this level.
@@nigelmuss440 I agree. I think Tommy's best is better than Taylor's best. Paul is the better tennis player in my opinion if we talk about potential. Of course success has to match that potential at some point in his carreer to kind of confirm that opinion.
Tommy Paul is such a likeable player. He reminds me of a 90s player with the laidback attitude and back to front cap. Cool vibes from this guy! Hope he wins a slam one day.
Saw Tommy play a challenger tournament in 2015 when he first turned pro and was immediately impressed with his athleticism. I’ve enjoyed watching his career develop since then and find him the most entertaining American player to watch. He has a lot of variety and great hands to go with his athleticism. The only limit is the serve, he doesn’t win a lot of free points off serve and today it really let him down in the latter sets. I’m hoping for good things on the US Open series.
Tommy Paul is a rising star love to watch he knows why he loss the match reason his fast returns the serve we wish next time you will be quick as we aspect 😢❤
One thing Tommy can take away from this loss is how well be neutralized all the tools Carlos has in his tool box in the first set and beginning of the second. If he can figure out a way to maintain that level of aggressive play combined with defense, he will make this a five setter 50/50 match in the future. 8/27 break points is a crazy stat.
He was playing so well but Alcaraz can just reach a level that is insane. I feel bad for Tommy because you can tell that he is genuinely pissed that he couldn’t find a solution today. Tennis is such a frustrating game to play. This press conference was just brutal and I can understand why players hate them especially when they lose. They should make only the winners do the press conferences because it is a bit cruel to interview someone after a heartbreaking loss.
I am a Carlos fan, but lets not brag about demolishing wins against one of the most dangerous opponents. Daniil is often overlooked. He will have a better serve and better defense. Winners against him are difficult to put in.
Tommy gifted the second set ..give away his service game in a silly way with two double faults..till then Alcaraz was losing the match..if Tommy played it like how he played first set n put his first service in ,, then it would have been tough for Alcaraz to win
With Carlos having concentration issues, i felt Tommy would pounce. Carlos just kept raising his level as Tommy began to be affected by the power coming from Alcaraz.
Congratulations Tommy, for last weeks Queens Tournament Win 🏆🎉 As an American, I Love watching Tommy Paul play and have discussions regarding his games and other players, his wins & losses 🎾 He's an all around great guy & could never be rude to a group of reporters ( such as these ) But with that little grin of his, I believe we all knew what he was thinking 💬 Lol. Good luck in future games 💕
Ohh please.. that so called 'one top player' you are referring to wouldn't have also got booed if his records had not humiliated fedal fans..😮 when the ego gets hurt, the frustration comes out!
Tommy, You played well but it was tough playing Carlitos when he was on form the last 2 sets of the match. There will always be another opportunity in the coming hard court season.
this guy is a class act!! such a nice, honest and humble person. hope he gets to move up another level in his career. i thought he played insane tennis in the first set and was clearly the better player, and that says a lot when Carlos is on the other side.
I fully enjoyed Tommy’s grass run . His tennis is so fun to watch ! Yes he’s great looking but what makes him special is what’s on the inside of this genuine, classy & talented man . Attitude is everything and he’s #1 !! Go USA 🇺🇸 ❤🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
He seems to be raised well by parents--look at him, his speech, body language, humility-- I always liked him, hope he wins more matches, make good prize money, so that he can sustain life once retire.
Tommy Paul what a lovely man. Gracious in defeat, complimentary, humble and above all a great tennis player. A certain former no.1 could learn from him and not ingratiate himself from the British public. Yes I’m talking about one Darth Vader Mr McEnroe! 🥱🥱🥱
I think Tommy played his best for this type of grass court. Carlos is just in a different level at this point, on this particular surface. Tommy has beaten Carlos before, he knows how to play vs Carlos, but the grass surface made all the difference. I am very happy of the level Tommy displayed vs someone that is just in a different level on grass. Look how Iga lost so bad, it’s the grass, people.
He is straight to the point . But if you read in between lines , he is confident with his ability to, he believe he just as good as Alcaraz. I like the way Tommy Play , he has something too😊
Being best American is like being best in your house....We are so far away......But I am sure there is a kid or 2 somewhere .......Players just show up....Nobody heard of Sinner....Players appear
