I was in6th grade when everybody came out .it was really a new sound to me. Love Tommy's knack for always finding that sweet spot for a simple great drum hook .this audience sucks.

At 0:52 the announcer says that before the beatles played the ed sullivan show they played washington, d.c. Not true!! Everyone knows the first time they played in the united states was on the ed sullivan show.

james b - you are right! On February 9th, 1964, The Beatles, with their Edwardian suits and mop top haircuts, made their first American television appearance-LIVE-on The Ed Sullivan Show.

This is one very weak audience, he asks them to sing and you can't hear more than a handful ( maybe 5 or 6) people sing, this crowd needs to watch some live videos so they know how to sing along with the performer, in this case Tommy Roe.

It might be the way, I heard the song but to me the melody for Hazel, sounds a bit like Sweet Pea...Again it might just be me, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
