Huge congratulations Tommy Pickles and Dad! Watching your videos every week makes me feel closer to you ❤ keep up the good work and have a brilliant time in London! Surely Starlight Express is on the cards??? Love from Texas, Aunty Alison xx xx xx
I think what has brought a lot of people to your channel. Is the very nature of it. Good wholesome content. It isn't politics, wars, crime, news or any of the other things that can be depressing. Keep up the good work.
It's just a bit after 10 on a lovely sunny Monday morning here in my part of Australia, and suddenly the day seemed even brighter with this news. Congratulations to you both for giving me one of the most enjoyable channels I watch. Roll on, 2,000+. And, Dad, I could understand you today! 😊 BW, Australia 🇦🇺
thank you so much and I'm glad you understood although it is pretty scary in front of the camera instead of behind it. Think I'll leave it to Tommy going forward 😊
Good on you both. Is there anything better than watching trains with your dad? I did it with mine nearly 50 years ago. Great memories that last a life time.
I'm so lucky that Tommy is so passionate and enjoys it so much. I know hanging out with Dad won't be cool forever so I'm just loving every minute while it lasts 😊
well done for 1k! i love ur vids so much i started watching you guys the other day and its rlly fun as a train enthusiast aswell :) i like to do trainspotting but i never get to go out that much as my parents are at work lol most days but when im older i might start going out i also think you guys should watch trains at gatwick airport! these are the stations i think you guys should go to ( brighton, london victoria, tonbridge, east croydon, gatwick airport, purley, hawards heath, london paddington, and keep doing trains at morpeth)
Clapham Junction ( and the nearby Wimbledon ) is where I did most of my train spotting in the late 1950s and the 1960s because I was brought up in Wandsworth. Your Cramlington has an interesting history that could give two distinct school projects for Tommy. 1. On May 10th 1926 during day 7 of the General Strike the Flying Scotsman ( the train, not the locomotive ) was derailed there under very suspicious circumstances. You will not be able to find any living witnesses now but there must be plenty of archival resources especially since it resulted in long terms of imprisonment. 2. Much more recently ( and still ongoing ) - so no shortage of witnesses - is the modernisation of the station as part of the redevelopment of the Northumberland Line. Once a teacher always a teacher I guess!
Wow I didn't know anything about that incident. I'll definitely be looking into that and I'm sure Tommy will be interested too. Thank you so much for commenting 😊
