What a day of Trainspotting!!! As it's Tommy's final day of the summer holidays, we thought we'd do something a bit special and it was epic! If you don't watch the whole video, please at least watch near the end at Pegswood where we got an amazing Crossover!
We started at our local station Cramlington where we saw the first freight train 66766 Gail Richardson. It was a bit foggy but that fog cleared when we arrived in Morpeth.
At Morpeth, we saw lots of trains and the great driver from @NorthernRailwayOfficial treated us to plenty of beeps. He even came to see Tommy and gifted him two badges. Amazing customer service from Northern as you'd expect (not that Daddy is biased) 😂 Before we left Morpeth, we went to the station cafe and bought a Sticky Apple and Cinnamon cake which is as delicious. We split it fairly (Daddy one bite and Tommy the rest) and then headed to the car.
We had planned to go to Pegswood next but after looking at the schedule, we decided to go to Widdrington where the fog was thicker than before. It did look cool seeing the trains appear from the fog but soon it was time to head to our final station.
We didn't have much time at Pegswood but we knew a freight was coming. When it arrived, it was joined by a Cross Country to give us one of our best (and loudest) crossovers!
We hope you like our video and as we say in the video, we hope all of the children going back to school tomorrow have had a great holiday and have a brilliant day back in the classroom. Tommy is feeling nervous about returning so he knows how you feel if anyone else is feeling the same.

👱🏼About me
My name is Tommy and I'm passionate about trains and planes. After seeing some older boys creating videos of trains at my local station, I was inspired to give it a go myself and with the help of my taxi driver, I mean Dad, I hope to travel around The North East, finding cool places to record all things rail, air and as I also love ships, maybe nautical. I'd love to hear your feedback and any suggestions of interesting places to visit for my next video.
