Love how he gave props to his homie Dee and didn’t smut him. Sometimes you gotta take a back seat and let the smart homie take the wheel. Im sure he considers Dee a true friend despite that incident.. if Joker would’ve been able to get away with it, Dee would’ve still been down.. but the cards didn’t fall in Jokers favor that day and.. now after what I’m sure was a rough 37 years Joker walked off.. he’s grateful to be able to share his story and have a 2nd chance in his 2nd half of life. Rip Mumbles and Jokers mother and brother. The domino effect that happens after a murder is actually pretty crazy when it comes to gang lifestyle.

i went to school with his little brother at Raymond Ave. the details of what happened shocked everyone - i definitely remember, "Baby Joker got killed." that was the very first clue that told me that my immediate was affectionate toward 8Trays. i was curious about how/why everyone knew Baby Joker + i hadn't met him. i think Twan + Lonnie were in my class and i began to learn more about gangs in 2nd grade. #raymondcubs

Ironically if it was a movie made about the book, that incident would have been good for tv. Trays headed three car loads deep into Hoover territory packed with Hoovers on the street with the Hoovers displaying their weapons in the open for a head up fade.
