This scene just shows how great of an actor Adrien Brody truly is. This is a character unlike any he has played previously in his career and he absolutely dominates the roll given to him.
He can play both a terrified, despaired and malnourished Polish pianist and a confident, charismatic and vindictive Italian mafia boss. His talent needs to be acknowledged more worldwide.
The season with Luca Changretta was the best season in my opinion. The beef with the mob was the most danger the Shelbys have been in IMO. I love how they handled it in the end but I hated that John had to die. "Welcome to Birmingham"
4:09 The meaning of taking action without asking could indicate that the person is the Authoritarian and can do anything and is not afraid of the other
Thomas Shelby, the fictional character from the TV series Peaky Blinders, is known for his confident and commanding presence. Here are some of the body language cues that Thomas Shelby uses to convey confidence: 1. Eye contact: Thomas Shelby maintains strong eye contact when speaking with others, which can convey confidence, sincerity, and authority. He often holds his gaze steady, without looking away or breaking eye contact, which can be an effective way to establish dominance and convey a sense of self-assurance. 2. Open posture: Thomas Shelby often stands with an open posture, with his shoulders back and chest forward. This can convey confidence and authority, as well as a willingness to engage with others and take charge of a situation. 3. Controlled movements: Thomas Shelby often moves with deliberate, controlled movements, which can convey a sense of purpose and confidence. He is often seen walking with a slow, deliberate pace and making smooth, purposeful gestures with his hands, which can add to his commanding presence. 4. Use of space: Thomas Shelby often uses his physical space to convey confidence and assertiveness. He may stand or sit in a way that takes up more space than others, or he may move around the room in a way that suggests he is in control of the situation. 5. Firm handshake: Thomas Shelby often uses a firm, confident handshake when meeting others, which can convey strength and authority. He may hold the other person's hand firmly and look them directly in the eye, which can be an effective way to establish dominance and convey confidence. Overall, Thomas Shelby's body language is a key part of his confident and commanding presence, and serves as a reminder of the importance of using body language to convey confidence and authority in social and professional situations.
Bro u miss a lot of things is different between movie and real life if u doing this shit in real life u gonna look goofy because is hard to succeed in real life while Italian guy did good job showing real life situations
Ultimate upgrade. Total self control This is the inner mental work needed to conquer yourself and have no limits All explained in detail exactly how The art to masculinity by james francis
You know, you can only react like tommy or luca when your opponent or even your listener is also calm and matured, and you don't go and find matured and calm people like you to argue or befriend, it's life and it's hard tho.
I disagree. If a bystander sees an irate man abusing a calm and collected individual, they will automatically assume the aggressive person is the aggressor, which is especially helpful for keeping up your appearances around customers and managers. Remaining calm also reduces the risk of escalation, unless the other person becomes intimidated. I learned this very quickly in customer service.
Luca got battle but not the war. Tommy show many times that he always find a way to outsmart and defeat his opponents. He simply likes chalenge. And he will continue until not find a man he can not defeat... Greatest crime mind ever.
@@karlstrausside107 why should any of that matter to you ? I’m sure you have your favorites and I can guarantee you that your preferences don’t matter to me
You've spent a lot of time on creating something that now seems a valuable lesson on how I, and probably many others, have made wrong moves, double meanings or just wasted oppurtinities. Wasted oppurtinities are the worst, you just won't take them back. And when I saw myself being Alfie on the inside, I seem to be just a spectator on the outside. Going further than the roles in Peaky Blinders; Tom seems to be a similar character playing Bane, where probably the most recognizable scene would be quote "You merely adopted the dark, I was born in it..." Anyway, it made me think a lot about what or how I went wrong in the past couple of years and I really apprecciate these lessons where just a couple of minutes into tue series make you overthink for hours and try to be.. Well.. Better of a man? Human? Can't really put it into words but you probably know what I mean. Thanks again and please do keep up the good work.
Great video. Just when it comes to real life the talking is always fast and if you don’t reply within 2 seconds the person just keep coming at you like saying “what or do you hear me ? “ and then I feel it just ruins the moment and you just slip back into the way they want the conversation to go
This is the best body language analysis I ever seen! Keep growing brother !! and yeah i just want to ask that how should i act in my school means a serious or a jolly guy ? all i need is the self respect !
Thanks for the comment! For acting in the school, i dont recommend you to act like someone which you are not. But i also dont recommend you to act so much jolly. Just a little bit of everything is the best. A little bit jolly and positive, a little bit serious, a little bit mysterious, having a little bit humor etc. And acting depend on the situation will make you attractive af. Remember this at every respond time: "be careful what you tolerate, you are teaching people how to treat you.
What I do: Walk slowly Don't fidget Head held high Look them in the eye. Speak slowly and clearly Speak in a low tone Look to the side with a slow blink and back to their eyes doing the same slow blink. If sitting, take up space. Don't raise your eyebrows when someone first looks at you. Don't back away if they invade your space. Put together, it all works well.
Damn bro that scene is hell good ❤ what a great way to learn body language. never imagined that conversation in that way. Btw, how you learned about body language.
Very good acting on both parts. Its different in real life tho ... but for a person not from the life the producers and actors put alot of time into research. Both are good people but no gangsters lol but that's ok . Great show and everyone loves it .... shelby is a badass . Best show out followed by the Vikings for sure 100%💜🍷🍷✌
Siyah Zetsu kanalındaki adamın tıpa tıp ayınısı sesin. Yoksaa? :D Eline sağlık dostum böyle yabancı kültürün baskın olduğu bir konsepti ingilizce seslendirmen çok iyi olmuş başarılarının devamını dilerim.
While I agree, there are SOME points behind particular movements that people make, I think this might be perhaps OVER picking and overthinking what they're doing. I don't think they PURPOSELY picked EVERY single action they make. You just move as your body naturally would, that's part of acting. We don't think about every move we make every second. Like picking out some of the lines they say too, I don't think every word they say has a deeper hidden meaning.... That's reaching just a bit, my friend.
Even you did a really good job, there's mix of gestures that by themselves get 1 concept but adding others are totally diferent, but u're not a psychologist wich is ok
First time beaten no sir that part where they told him he wasnt dead cuz he was the chosen one then gets his family threatened he left pissed was screaming in anger
Real people are generally not as dramatic or detailed as these actors. There was one instance though, where I was in a job interview and after a while the interviewer leaned back in his chair and said “so do you think you’re smart?” and slurped his can of Pepsi while I answered. That’s when I knew I didn’t want that job. A power move that showed unnecessary disrespect.
Youve analyzed these body actions particularly incorrect. Your reading all of it to directly. Most of these movments are used in the form of misdirection. Fidgeting with something doesnt always indicate nervousness but can also be a product of intense thought or focus.
You totally misjudged the inhaling before he reached his smoke. The inhaling signifies Tommy making a decision. Reaching for the smoke signifies he is making peace with that choice… He was already in the know of who this guy was the moment he walked through the door…
I don’t care what any of y’all analyzers say about clasping your hands. I do security in the clubs. None of those drunks scare me. I put my hands clasped in front of me because there is no where else to put them other than in my pockets or behind me. Down by my side standing for hours is a little awkward and aggressive.
In my opinion, Adrien Brody over-acted or more like emulated the godfather too much in this show. He's done insanely stellar work with wide range of characters. My point is that it was a bit on the nose instead of doing his own take NY mafia.
