The use of a thread-locking solution on the roller's pin after installation is recommended to prevent it's backing out under fire unless you're going to stake it in on both sides. (don't forget to support the housing under the roller before you stake it)
@@ibingly Let me get this straight, so a guy can use the guts of a Graves Alamo 15, Para 15 or RB Trigger to then use the guts in standard housing of an AR-15 trigger?

We need to make a version for non-automatic fire. In the USA, all bolts are mostly automatic, but here in Russia they are not (you can buy an automatic bolt frame, but soon it will become more difficult to do this, because according to new laws this will become the main part of the weapon). I think it will be possible to convert this trigger to work with a non-automatic fire bolt at home.
@Bingly Where could I find a Trigger similar to the Alamo 15 or Rare Breed? I know the whole situation with Rare Breed & ATF since theyre FRTs. But Alamo 15 is in the clear right? Cant find them anywhere online
I installed the tommy upgrade kit and the correct 3 poition safety and the hammer falls without the roller lock being pressed. Would anybody have any ideas of what's up?
Hey man I need you tell me where to get one of these that trigger I mean and that three position safety. I can’t find any of this stuff anywhere the ATF got their butt kicked in court so I am on the lookout for the Alamo.
So I’m thinking of getting the new para-15 trigger, do you think the tommy trigger upgrade will work on the para housing? And if so where can I find the tommy upgrade..I cnt find it no Where..
Meh. Not sure it the Tommy will work in the para. I know whisper tactical said it would but I’m skeptical. I would message someone on the FB group who is having issues. See if they will sell it out of frustration
What’s the point of this? Why don’t they just sell them pre-assembled? Why would I want to buy a $300 trigger just to use the housing? Seems ridiculous.
Tommy came out with 3md (which was an all in one 3 selector trigger) a year after RB came out with the FRT. Tommy received a cease and desist from RB and could only manufacture the upgrade kits to be compliant. Most people had the original RB triggers so it made sense to make the upgrade kits.
I am interested in this trigger. I watched your video about the safety selectors and what I'm wondering is does the safety selector that comes with the Tommy Trigger Alamo 3 selector kit switch the trigger from safe, into semi, into force reset mode? Or does the selector in the Alamo 3 kit only keep the trigger in semi mode in the other two positions outside of the safe position?
The safety that comes in the kit makes it safe semi and semi. He does this to skirt the ATF. His old kits came with the safety that had all 3 modes and was raided by the ATF. There is a new mod where people install a set screw in the one that comes with the kit. Seems to be the easiest method
@@ibingly I tried out this upgrade for the first time a few days ago. I fired 90 rounds total. Something happened that bothers me. I had a double fire when I was shooting on semi. I had the double fire after I had fired 37 rounds on semi. After that I fired a 30 and a 20 round magazine on semi. Out of the 50 rounds I fired I didn't have anymore double firers on semi. My question is, did you ever have a double fire with yours.
@@lep38918 yes sir it’s firing in binary which is giving you the double taps. There is a guide on the Facebook group on what to file. You really only need to file a small bit of the disconnector.
I'm waiting for them to lower the price or a 3rd select trigger comes out. I don't want to spend 600+ to have a cool trigger lol I just can't do it at the moment. But it's super bad ass
@@ibingly I totally slept in that then. I have contacts with Thomas, but don't want to ask for any favors the man is running a business and I respect the hell out of him for it. I just can't justify to my wife and we are in the middle of moving so I'm on a tight budget anyways.

@@ibingly okay, because there's a guy that is actively working on modifying the hoffman tactical FRT to work in conjunction with an M16A2 burst trigger, a normal hammer, an M16A1 disconnector, and another standard disconnector.

I'm currently looking at a second hand 3 selector kit online, but it's advertised as one for the FRT 15 instead of the alamo 15 trigger, are they both compatible? Wish I saw these pop up before tommy stopped making them, they are like 700 bucks now...
I no longer have the trigger and never used the tommy upgrade I got for it. I'm looking to sell it bc as ppl know, that kit is actually intended on taking the forced reset away. It's not until you use that certain type of safety selector that you get all three modes.
After installing the hammer, the hammer won't lock. It's hitting something before it gets to the ledge to lock. If I take the hammer pin our of the other side and just have it through the spring and hammer. The hammer locks

@@TheFoxyt2 A little too long to write out but in that video you can't see but it doesnt finish the mag and is not reliable. Mine is a RB with a tommy kit. Alamo or Para will not work correctly with the MPX/MCX/Scar/Bren

@@ibingly I mean the blocky ass switch Tommy includes with the upgrade kit. The barrel seems to be working fine. The switch itself hurts my lil fingies. 😓
Gun broker. There is also a dude who has 3 position drop in triggers. They are a mix between the WOT and FRT but with safe, semi, and full semi lol. The internals are stainless steel as well so they are very durable.
ATF claims they are machine gun but do not make laws. As the law is written they are not a machine gun. Bump stock ban was overturned which helps this case. It will probably be years before we have a clear answer on FRTs
So I have an Alamo trigger where do I get the three position kit? So far I've tried on a rear breed and I haven't been able to get it to three position safe single fire and FRT
@John Smith I’d have to get one of the triggers first tho. Or at least the housing from what it looks like. They’re nowhere to be found and neither are these. I think all the drama was to just drum up business and sell out. These things wouldn’t have been very popular without all the publicity. Wish I bought a pallet of them. I’d be rich right now.
My advice to everyone is do not purchase the trigger or the Tommy gear from GB. There was a guy who got visited by the federales ......not sure if GB gave them the info, but it sure looks that way. There are other places.
