After this song first came out, nearly everyone with the number 867-5309 had to change their phone number, which was a lot more difficult back then to do.
Hi my dear, now thst was a new experience for both of us ! I didn't know this band before, but the song is fun and catchy, and I liked it as much as you did. Nothing special, rather, but nice to watch. Your last Gordon Lightfoot reaction to Sundown was blocked, un fortunately, but I hope you liked this song as well, it's a beautiful one, in my opinion. I would love to see you react to bands and singers that I love to listen to attend concerts from. They are off mainstream and deserve much more attention in my opinion. And doing reactions to these artists and then uploading these videos helps promoting these bands a lot, in my opinion. So here is a list of songs I would love to see you react to : Monophonics : Last one standing (Official audio) ; It's only us (Live Blues Kitchen) the first one is an upbeat song, the second a slower song Elles Bailey : What if I ; Light in the distance (my two favourite songs from her !) Harlem Lake : Time makes two (Unplugged Live at Roepaen) a cover of a Robert Cray song from the 80s, recorded last year in a church Sean Webster and the Dead Lines : I'd rather go blind (Live at Bluesmoose Cafe) a beauiful cover of a classic Etta James song... his voice gave me goosebumps when I heard him the first time... and then over and over again. and some classic songs : Janis Joplin : Summertime (official audio) Temptations : Papa was a rolling stone (full version) probalby one of the best funk/soul songs ever released, from 1972, 12 minutes long ! Hugs and kisses from your dear friend Gerry
Hey I'm just kind of working my way through the reactions that pop up since I only recently subscribed, but somehow right in the middle of this it reminded me of an earlier version of this kind of idea. Definitely not the same song by any means. But Robert Cray was a more modern Blues dude and they coexisted around the same time. But one of Robert Cray's greatest songs to me, once I became aware of them when I was 18, and maybe it's a cover itself, maybe it really is I don't know, but it's Robert Cray and it's called phone booth. Here is a link to the studio cut if you should decide to listen but it's kind of the same idea of someone is just lonely and desperate and they say somebody's name carved on the wall of a phone booth in a bar-room stall, but somebody actually has the idea to write about what if you actually called that number? Laugh. That's the genius of the song and it was a huge hit even though it was probably their only hit but go check out this Robert crais on man it's hilarious and it's a great dance song as well. m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HMdGqfrT7Ro.html&pp=ygUXcm9iZXJ0IGNyYXkgcGhvbmUgYm9vdGg%3D
