When my first wife was diagnosed with cancer on 8/25/2007 (you alway remember the exact date you get the diagnosis), I asked the doctor, "What will happen, then what will happen, then what will happen?" He said, "That's not how we treat cancer." He said, "we evaluate her and see what's the most important thing to treat right now. Once we get that under control then we re-evaluate what's the most important thing next." I said, "So we do the next right thing and leave the results to God." He said that's about right. Booby Buddies is a great online support group. Your dx is same as mine was. Put ice packs on after surgery. Helps.
