+Mijail Carpio Hi! I am pretty new to electronic music (Tomorrowland 2014 first weekend was my first experience ever, coming from being an opera soloist...!) and I always enjoy a clear drop very much. Now you write that you appreciate it that Solomon doesn't make predictable drops... Teach me! I always get out of my rhythm if a drop just drops without feeling it coming. But my partner likes deep house in which I often feel a bit "left out" because exactly that happens: unpredictable drops. I'd like to learn, so if you like, please reply to my message! Thanks in advance!
+Auke Kempkes Auke! There is sooo much music to explore! Underground music is sooo rich and powerful!! It is such an amazing expierience to really LISTEN to what a song is about! You should really look into these artists: Maceo Plex, Hernan Cattaneo, Shall Ocin, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Dave Seaman, Oliver Huntemann, Christian Smith, Adriatique! These guys are in my top favorites! You can see a variety of styles but they are masters in the underground scene! You should really get into it!! ;) Cheers From Bolivia! soundcloud.com/nicogamarra91
Solomun really is unique. He brings the sound that both the house + tehcno heads love and the EDMr's can also enjoy. He brings the underground out a little bit and modifies it for the big EDM crowds. A good common ground for both sides

Listening from Belgium in 2024 🤩 the 1st time I saw him live when he played a 5 hr closing set @ Exit Festival 2021 ❤ Dancing with my daughter at the dance arena for 4 days! Everytime I start listening to that set I cry tears of joy 🥰 amazing memories
I love it how you can see how more mature the people are at techno concerts, no selfie sticks, no nothing, everybody's there to have an experience. Awesome set!
OMG it passed a long time ago since I listened to this and I'm still loving it every single day.......It's my music , Is the music I love , Is the music I feel.....Thanks Solomun ...
ツ This man is a pure GENIUS! It's definitely one of the most talented DJ's ever and above everything a TRUE composer! Listen to the songs he mixes and you'll see that most of them are MUCH BETTER through his work.
Just found this guy. He is just brilliant. I do like other 'mainstream' DJ's but this guy takes it to some other level, you really can tell he knows what he's doing and takes it extremely seriously *while still enjoying himself*.
Both BR and Tomorrowland's are PERFECT and SUBLIME sets. And not only I'm impressed about what he mixes but also about how he does it. He is capable of doing totally different shows for each occasion. He totally understands the vibe and the different audiences and makes perfect sets for each location. Bravo Solomun!
@@Interstellar-cowboy Boiler Room. Look into it, it's a magic set. Different setting though, so a different vibe he creates. But legendary, one of the best Boiler Room sets ever created....
i thinks we all have been to the main stream stages, we all had our times listening to Avicii David Guetta Afrojack etc - but some of us evolved and i think this is the most real and genuine state of mind and being.

This is the first time I have heard of this "guy known as Solomun".... I can ASSURE YOU that it won't be the last!! He definitely caught my attention. I'll be looking him up on various sites later today. Take care, God Bless, and dance your asses off!!!!
It's good to see DJ's such as Solomun and Digweed playing in festivals such as this one which is geared more towards the EDM crowd and young kids that think good music comes from commercial djs. This definitely exposes these kids to real Electronic music. Hopefully many of these festival goers go on to discovering more quality music like Tale of Us, Marcel Dettmann and the like. Could this be the beginning of the maturing of the Electronic music scene in the US?
its called underground art. you have to actually dig to get there. Not everyone deserve those brother. true talented artists are always unknown. check out this yonge dj called VNTM. you deserve it! 🥂

Amazing rendition of Donna Summer's "I Feel Love"! I remember dancing to that at parties in the late '70's as a young teenager. Thank you Solomun for bringing it back with such style.
Whole different level, whole different quality....way to good for tomorrowland, and for the modest crowd going crazy on Tiesto ,Afrojack and other mainstream ,overhyped,bullshit...!!! Another dimension of music ,for choosy, highbrow people
+Heffernan Douglas Tomorrowland atmosphere depends on which stage you choose. I just look at the lineups of the different stages and pick the deejays I wanna hear, main stage is mainstream music for the crowd, that's correct, but better this way so less crowded on the stages I wanna be. Solomun rocked !
solomun its only quality .the people there maybe hope to djs shaking their bodies and jumping like a fools they dont see the quality.he dont need more. i like this kind of djs serious and good style
