Fantastic sound mixing. Using the old techniques at the beginning really made for a surreal experience. Then putting in the sound-tracks from other scenes really made it dynamic.. I thoroughly approve!

Interesting. I actually edited the music used in this video years and years ago for fun. (The first section was edited to sound like the trailer music version) and somehow it leaked online. Fun to see someone put a video to it :)
Wow very good job but one observation,you didn’t use the sounds of the scenes of people for example the swords noise and more of the voices of the characters
So, the Chinese woman is playing a Japanese woman named O Ren Ishi which translates into English as Your Doctor. Did I miss sone joke? Was she supposed to be a failed medical school student or a killer acupuncturist? Anyhoo, that is a righteous soundtrack!

Actually, "Battle Without Honor And Humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotei is the theme piece for another movie made in 2000, called "New Battles Without Honor and Humanity" which is a remake of a similar titled movie made in 1970s. So, I get the appeal of using some artist's existing songs or tracks for a film, I am a soundtrack afficionado, but using another film's theme piece in your film reeks outright larceny to me. By the way, I wish good luck to anyone trying to find the original or new Battles Without Honor and Humanity films. I couldn't.
