What happened to the first section of this classic , to me , instrumental as its not just 1 or 2 notes he is off but quite a few & again later on!.. Did anyone call him out for this or was it just swept under the rug & though he manages to pull the song back the fact he bummed out another more notes later makes me wonder what was wrong , as this is a well known instrumental from the fan's, but even those who had never had heard it but have a good ear for music would've heard those bum notes & it's the first time I've seen him not deliver a perfect rendition of one of his own instrumentals... This has showed up on my RU-vid page on & off for years but since I've seen Tomoyasu Hotei do this live on other uploads I figured I've give this one a listen to & I don't know if he was ill/serious family issues or whatever but he's, as far as I've seen him Live , always played impeccably so you can imagine how I felt hearing hitting those bum notes as he always delivers great renditions of his own work Live on stage!.. This is one of my favourites but I think he should've stopped & said something along the lines of " Ok let's try this again " as that would've been a better road to go down as fans know musician's of the highest calibre can on occasion hit 1 or 2 bum notes but I've never seen him perform so many within one song... It's still one of my favourites but I wouldn't class this as Tomoyasu Hotei at his best... There was one rendition of this particular song on RU-vid years ago were he had the audience in tears & it's the best performance I've seen him given but I guess RU-vid decided to take it down as I can't find it anymore... In light of this still ongoing coronavirus and it's variants stay safe and healthy wherever you are in this world... .....
