Fantastic review! I have a quick question that you may or may not be able answer: I am looking to swap from the new-model Patagonia Refugio 26L to the Voyage T50, and you are the only reviewer who has reviewed both bags. If you're not able to answer due to not having the Refugio, no worries and thanks regardless! Given that the Refugio's laptop compartment eats into the available 26L of space, would you say that the main compartment of both is fairly comparable? I use the Refugio as both a day pack and a 1-2 Night trip bag, but I'd love to swap to this to have a tiny bit more organization and (imo) a better aesthetic since the Refugio shrivels up when not fully packed out. I tend to do two packing cubes plus a toiletry kit for my trips.
I tried on the Urban Ex T65 in store and found that it was impossible to adjust the strap length one handed, which was a deal breaker for me. Did you have that issue with yours? Also, how would you say these compare to the moment everything bag you called out on your best list? Also the lunar Aer bag that you just dropped a video on!
Thanks for the review! I got both the T50 and the T73 backpacks and I'm really torn on which to pick. Which would you say is better overall and why? Also, do you know which is the material on the T73 exactly? Apart from the X-Pac on the front, I cannot find any official sources on the other material. Thanks!
The t73 20L version. Pretty good so far. And I got confirmation from tomtoc support that the other material is 1680D regular nylon (not Cordura fabric) @@hexuanlv2236
@@hexuanlv2236Hey sorry for the late response.At the end I went with the T73. Way better shoulder straps, better organization and the orange interior coloring is very pleasing. On the contrary the T50 has dark interiors which I didn't dig much. Tomtoc support said to me that the other material is regular 1680D nylon so super durable. BTW i went with the 20L version which is a bit more compact and perfect for my size requirements.
Been looking for the elements pro as my edc for a trip to japan but sadly out of stock. Since the T65 and elements pro are both 840D nylon, do you think the T65 is a good alternative? Love your reviews btw especially since youre the first to review this.
It’s perplexing for sure. At $150, I think that one would be a slam dunk… awesome value for an EDC, I’d get it over the Pro Pack 20L or City Pack for sure. At $220, it’s just losing to its other comp here, which is around $100 cheaper for EDC use cases… despite it being a very good bag.
