This is something im really looking forward too. sure shigaraki is faster but mahito could possibly win with one touch from idle transfiguration luls his domain expansion being an insta-hit and his body of distorted klling form would be trouble for shigaraki. It could go either way but im leaning more towards mahito winning
Let me just correct something here one touch with Idle Transfiguration is not an instant win against Shigaraki since he has multiple ways to protect his soul and Domain Expansion's barrier cannot target someone without Cursed Energy so ultimately none of Mahito's instant win moves work while on the flip Shigaraki takes every advantage even Mahito's Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing Form is nothing to Shigaraki at his peek he was compared to Prime All Might who is an absolute monster of brute strength.
I'ma end this debate, Shigaraki cannot harm the soul of Mahito therefore this fight is against a walking state of decay vs someone who ignores it. Remember kids, They can be hit by a physical attack but it will deal no damage regardless of how powerful it is. Only curse energy works, and shigaraki got none so we wrapping that shit up pretty quickly. His decay parents the physical body but not the soul. so its worthless
Yeah but on the flip side Mahito's instant win move won't work on Shigaraki who can defend his soul multiple ways until Mahito just runs out of Cursed Energy and dies.
Mahito can't regenerate from being reduced to dust , in the anime after his first fight with nanami he says needs about, .6% of his total body mass in order to regenerate
