Here's a custom that I started ages ago. The Ballast Spreader... or Ballast Cleaner... or The Sodor Railway Repair.
I'm not super happy with this one to be completely honest, but I'm just glad its finally done. I used 2 flatbeds to create this. The main engine was originally a breakdown train flatbed, while the back flatbed was a regular green flatbed. The body was built with cardboard and balsa wood which was folded, puttied and glued into place. Big thanks to @Christian La Rocca (@ChrisLaRoxkz on twitter) for not only giving me the Byron face, but also creating the glasses that he wears. It's perfect. I glued some of the loose ballast that I use on my sets into the back section of the custom. The model is painted Tamiya Yellow TS-47.
