Tondo has a reputation for being dangerous town it is actually peaceful, nice and welcoming people, The internet & social media always gives you negative and toxic news, some people thinks foreigners have money, Filipinos have pride just be humble and respect the culture. Filipinos are God fearing People. We are hospitable, friendly, welcoming. Some foreigners disagree just have fun in the Philippines, every Country have its own problems even U.S.A. has a high rate of crime, violence daily and other European or Western Countries.

Tondo is where I was born. I spent 11 years of my life there before moving to another town. People are super friendly. They might not have everything that they need but they have such huge hearts! 🥰 I was hoping to see our old house haha! I'm up for adoption too lol

I came from a poor family and I knw rich people afraid to go the village or town but they don't know how kind people are until they stayed or visit, poor people always respect rich people but rich people judge by the looks.
I enjoyed watching your video and blogs in Tondo and you saw yourself how safe the place and friendly the Filipinos are although Kids are annoying which is just normal especially in places where poverty is common and the environment where they are and by far compared to the places of the elite like Makati , BGC etc. but they love you and just curious with foreigners like you , but it’s funny how they behave since it’s not everyday they see a foreigner like you although they really are annoying and I can’t blame you . You said it’s the most dangerous place in Manila, that’s what Tondo been called.. that’s before in the 60s 70s because of the gang war.. but now they’re gone and it’s very peaceful, people there are friendly..

Better to visit Taal Volcano in Batangas just 3 hours land travel from Manila. You will see there “The island in a lake on an island in a lake on an island”.
Tondo is a friendly place. Yes, maybe before during the 50’s and 60’s its dangerous place but now no more. And in every place on earth there is peace and order problem so with Tondo.
Be extra careful on such area Sir...may God keep you safe always.🙏🏻🙏🏻 Respect begets respect..just be respectful to the people there, and they would definitely treat you right, what impressive about my country even kids in slum area could comprehend and speak English.🙂And its natural in our culture to offer something to strangers even we are poor.
The fact that you can see kids and women walking around in the street tells you that the place is safe. The place looks cramped but not dangerous at all.
