Killer vibes here dude. Great playing. Great guitar. I just bought one in airline silver that is the best Gretsch I've owned. The new pickups are way better. The neck is more comfortable and the resonance is next level with the new bracing. Incredible upgrades in that price range. I love mine and highly recommend them.
I just bought one and they are WAY better than the blacktop filtertrons. So much more attack, clarity, brighter and just sound great in general. HUGE upgrade!

Is the new C shape neck actually thicker than the U shaped neck that have been standard on Korean made G5420s (one you tuber reviewing the G5427 which is a limited special finish GC/MF run from 2021 and happens to have same new Filtetron Pups and trestle bracing under top and C profile neck as this version of G5420 commented that the new C neck felt thicker). This is opposite of what I would have expected-I would have anticipated that the C neck would be a bit less thick. Any input on this??
