Tone Sekelius slutade på femte plats i Melodifestivalen 2022 med "My Way”. I februari 2021 hade hon presenterat sig som transperson, och hon blev därmed den första transpersonen att tävla i Melodifestivalen.
Sedan deltagandet har hon gjort programledardebut i Paradise, släppt låtarna “What A Shame” och “Crying on Christmas” samt gästat flera tv-program. Tone prisades som ”Årets HBTQ-person” på QX Gaygala 2022 och framträdde på Allsång på Skansen och Stockholm Pride.
Hon är också en stor influerare på TikTok och RU-vid. Tone startade sin RU-vid-kanal 2015 och har i dag över 300 000 prenumeranter. I kanalen delar hon med sig av sin vardag, underhåller och utbildar.
I år ställer hon sig på Melodifestivalens scen med en klubbig poplåt.
