I bought the lifter in the wood box to install on an Audio Technica LP120XUSB which is a manual turntable. It is not for the amateur, it involves drilling the turntable top between the platter and the tone arm raised block. I have to make a hole 0.703 mm so I can use the lifter without the base (2.226 cm across) or the spacer with the screw, there is no room or place anywhere else to set it with those. The hole is also tight enough so I turn it into position and it stays set, no adhesive needed. (The cylinder is all I can slip in the drilled hole where it has to be set, only 0.793 cm across of free space between tne platter edge and the base of the tone arm) If you have a turntable where the arm is close to the platter and the underside of the arm is closer than 3 cm from the base, it wont fit without modifications. I didn't mind drilling in a new turntable top to make it fit. Works like in the video, slowly lifting of the arm at the end of the disc.

Can't comment if they added dampening to it. It would be hard to do properly but not impossible. Email their support to see if they have improved/enhanced the product
I'd say the bar is angled that way so there's no chance the tonearm would slide off back onto the record. P.S. before you make your next video, blow your damn nose!!
No idea I think I bought it on amazon. Go with a clamp not a weight. I bought that because it had a built in bubble. A digital level is far more accurate.
I love how number 3 lifts the tonearm, but seriously I wish manufacturers of turntables would include a lift stop feature, that is one reason I went to ebay and boughtt 3 automatic turntables, I cannot deal with waiting to lift the arm at the end of the record.
Get a Fluance RT-85. It has auto lift and auto stop. Although lifting the tonearm at the end of a record doesn't bother me, I would have to give a serious nod this turntable had it been available 4 years ago when I bought my Pro-ject Debut Carbon (with an acrylic platter and 2M Blue cart).
