That's the crazy thing. If you look at whitney, mariah, who were really her only real competition back then, Toni is the only one who still looks and sounds EXACTLY like how she did back then. That's considering her life threatening disease, several financial pitfalls, and falls. A slave contract that left her making $ 2K with over 20 Million albums sold. I think the best part of this performance is to see her still so formidable after so many years. A true living legend.
That extradelay before the climax of the song is genius & Toni delivered! Now, her walk at the end is everything. Yes, girl get it!!! Her voice is Amazing & she's still beautiful.
What's even more ridiculous is the fact that almost everyone else that performed at this show... well, um... let's just say that Toni Braxton schooled everyone on what class, poise and top-level performing is. She's too good, man.
This is one of those songs, on paper it doesn’t look like what we hear from Toni Braxton. The interpretation is everything- and she does a masterful job of making anyone feel this song. If you make people feel what you’re singing about- you have arrived. Love Toni Braxton 😁
Literally every time I listen to this song I get ALL in my feelings I love Toni, she's one of those underrated divas. Adore this performance! Thanks for reacting!
This is one of the saddest songs - I love it to death! I've cried to it many years!!! This one and Roberta Flack's "Jesse" and Christina Agulara's "Hurt". It's good to clean out the tear ducts now and then....
I watched the live show and since then, I have been watching it at least 5-10 times a day. I was in high school when she released her first album and 26 years later, she still sounds exactly the same! What a spectacular performance!
LOVE TONI ❤❤❤ So happy to see her and I hope her health is ok. I can't imagine singing as beautifully as she does without her challenges - much less with the challenges she has to navigate. Autoimmune diseases are a bitch and wear you down. This night she simply glowed. That is star power ladies and gentlemen. She is a fighter :))
Saw Toni play Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway 20 years ago, almost by accident. She was fantastic then, and looking at this I think they froze her after that show and thawed her out for the AMAs. Her voice is still spectacular, and she looks exactly the same.
Didn't sound weak 2 me 51 with lupus shit she sound dam good 2 me toni has concerts all the time so it not like she doesn't sing anymore I'm at her shows all the time that was the Best performance ever live she just did as long as i live concerts go check out her concert

This song make you ball up in a fetus position and and moan for the love that you lost......I loved Toni back in the day and I still love her now.....May God keep Toni and her family in His mercy and grace always and forever......💖💖💖
That was beautiful, can u react to Pentatonix cover of the End Of Time by Beyoncé and As Long As You Love Me/ Wide Awake. Thanx and have a great day and a Happy Thanksgiving.
She singing behind her pre recorded track which is fine. It's not like britney spears or the other pop girls who throws the track on and actually lip syncs. This was incredible
You dont know that for sure say what you will that women performance was out of sight best I'm seen in a long dam time ppl really wasnt trying 2 do nothing but embrace the moment cant take that away from her
Go back on ANY RU-vid video and I promise the first people to respond always have something negative to say. Reason being, the only “strength” they have is from pushing a button on a keyboard behind a screen judging ppl for shit they could never do. #ToniLivingLegendAllDay
