Btw just to clarify Ricardo on the Bellingham thing for Birmingham, he's not considered a legend there because of what he did playing wise, it's coz his sale saved them from bankruptcy. I dunno why people always get salty and bring that up each time calling it "PR" 😂, it's not PR it's just the circumstances they were in, hence why they retired his jersey.
I have to say I think the panel is overall underapprecoating Kroos's impact on that Madrid side. Like I get he had more standout moments for Germany, but when you look at that German side, even that amazing 2014 one, and compare it to the Madrid he played in, bro, Klose is not Benzema. Özil is no CR7. As amazing as Schweinsteiger was, he's not Luka Modric. Howedes vs Marcelo? So he had to step into more of a main man role. I think Kroos is a victim of his own selflessness. By taking a step back and letting other guys shine in Madrid, because the quality was there from his team, he doesn't have specific moments where it's like the most memorable thing ever, but to say he's a side chick to Modric, or that he's otherwise tied to Modric for life is ridiculous. This season he's been playing 95% of games without Modric, and obviously without Casemiro, and it's been at least on par woth his other seasons, though I would argue it was one of his best seasons. So that narrative that his impact has been somehow elevated or that he was made to look better because he was playing alongside those other 2 guys is out the window. money mase made the best point in my opinion
Ye a lot of the panel too young for that era barring HH and anyone 30+ coz even the Zizou era, people bare young would've only caught the tail end of that as that last great Milan side was on its last leg's
I missed the live and I’m watching it now. One of the most successful players in the competition and a player most regard as an all-timer but he’ll get slandered by people on this panel that can’t remember him playing. The HH being old jokes are hilarious but if you were born after ‘98, how can you have a quality discussion on an all-time XI?
Justice prevails in football! UEFA & FIFA actions against A22 and ESL are contrary to EU law. This was ruled today for the first time by a European court, applying the legal framework set out by the ECJ in December. No more monopoly in #EuropeanClubFootball
@@TODDBOEHLYASSISTANT Yeah, you were obviously born after 2000. There has been nothing to suggest Arteta will leave. Even if he does, the club will continue.
