I have always loved this ride. I remember being on the ride in 1998 and a guy who worked there just said “Hi” while we were riding through and I screamed. Live actors would definitely up the suspense.
This was the ONE that started it all for me 1991. This ride turned me to a life of spooky psychedelia, even today I have so much love for dark rides, especially of the haunted variety. I'm not sure how you have access to this ride, which I can only guess is by working at the House, but I've honestly dreamed countless amounts of times of wandering through the Counts ancestral home . I've had this concept for years and I can't help but wonder at the possibility of making replicas of the various Bill Tracy stunts, as I've been needing to get me an attic rat since I first rode this ride when I was 6 or 7. There's a pretty epic recent game called Planet coaster that allows people to bring their dream theme parks to something resembling reality, which allows you to walk around and ride every creation that you build, including DaRk RiDeS! And I've been kicking around an idea of recreating as many defunct Bill Tracy rides that I will, in all likelihood, never get a chance to go on these lost rides. I badly want to take a ride on the Joyland/Wildwood Wacky shacks. The Kooky castle, another Haunted house in PA Westwood/westview park (that I can't remember at this moment) Also a version of the phantasmagoria ride in Texas, The Ghost Ship, Le Cachot, the Haunted Castle, the Tower of terror and I'm unsure if I'm correct but the Westview park contained a Davey Jones Locker ride and what looks to be a Pirates Cove dark ride (It at least looks to be z deal in the few pictures I've seen of it) the Journey to the center of the Earth boat dark ride , the Fright Zone also I would love to check out any of the Bill Tracy fun houses aside from the 2 Pirates Cove's that I'm very familiar with. Sorry for how long I can flap my gums towards you friend, but if you haven't noticed I thoroughly love the sorta psychedelic visionary creativity the man, myth and the legend and the Lord of all dark rides himself mr Bill(ium) of Tracy! And I have been very curious to get your opinions on a project that I've been planning out meticulously for a few years now. I'm making a Bill Tracy themed dark ride for the Halloween season. It's destined to be short (as I'm not rich) but sweet experience, consisting of 5 "rooms" to travel through. I had to spend my entire budget last year on creating the "carts" that people will traverse through the place, without having someone having to move the riders manually. Now I got my dayglow painted props/stunts ready and multiple blacklights 2 fog machines, as well as the sound effects and all ready and raring to go for the spooky season, but as someone with your familiarity of the Trimpers Haunted House, it would be absolutely amazing to get your a assessment and feedback on this project . Also I don't want to do this without asking you first about using the sound effects from the OC HH. If you'd rather that I not use the sounds and music from z ride you only need to say so and I'll do as you wish no problems Hopefully everyone is doing well out there in yonder world, and feedback would be very appreciated friends!
@@vinb.1799 when you are actually on Mr Toad, you feel the vehicle “bounce” on the tracks. The only difference is that you are actually hit by the train and you are sent to hell in the next room. The whole room is heated
Oh that’s cool! Kinda funny how on this ride it’s like reversed because you go from a hellish area with the devil and other devil related things and THEN to the train segment.
Personally I don't mind the actors at all, but just in the same manner as the zombies and movie IP's, I'd prefer that they were more similar to the Bill Tracy vibe stuff, if that makes any sense to you
Bruh what? I’ve seen videos of it 30 years ago and it’s changed a TON since then. They didn’t even have the actors at that time and they literally add big new props multiple times a year.

@@vinb.1799I'm right there by you friend. So much amazement at the way that they've added to it in the last couple years. I remember feeling kinda jarred when they began adding newer things, but over the years they've managed to catch lightening in a bottle, by making changes that feel as though they fit in well with the classic Tracy stuff. I mean I could do without the Annabelle/Pennywise/and zombies, but they've been able to integrate them in a way that I don't mind at all anymore. My dream is that Trimpers will continue purchasing more and more Tracy stunts from his defunct rides, to eventually replace some of the newer stuff, but like I just stated, they've managed to bring all the pieces together to the point that I don't even mind. Nothing's perfect but this ride is one of the closest cases of almost perfection. I see comments such as our friend here, that really makes me feel nervous about the future of these vvonderous rides. I've only heard a few people that I've heard folks say such sentiments, but classic dark rides such as Trimpers are becoming more of a rarity out there, and it would honestly break my heart if this ride were to leave this world and be replaced by one of the shooting dark rides that's all the rage these days, but the shooting aspect seems to take away from the experience and atmosphere of the rides. I don't know if I'm alone on this or not, but I would love to see a resurgence of classic haunted house dark rides (PS to the fella who believes that Trimpers HH needs to be updated, I'm honestly not trying to insult you as your opinion is your own, so please don't take my comment as an attack on you or your own opinion. I've grown up on this ride and I worry that people might lose their love/care for it, and the way I dealt with your comment was by cracking dumb jokes, but I honestly mean no harm/insult to you at all friend. The feelings that Mr Tracy evoke on it's riders are unique, nostalgic and are filled by some great spooky ambience with a hint of a cozy sort of familiarity . In other words this ride isn't meant to be genuinely scary and filled to the brim with jump scares like a modern "haunt". It's meant to be spooky and not so much scary, if you catch my drift.
