Éclosion is the first single from my new album, Nuit. The translation, from French, is "to bloom," "to be born," or "to hatch."
As it was coming to life, Éclosion reminded me that the most beautiful, tender and delicate things can grow even in the darkest places. It is my gift to you in whatever season you find yourself.

Eclosion is an awakening, a manifestation, a birth, a beginning. Each note of the piano is an eclosion, a sound that gives way to another, completely different and unique. During the song I felt the notes like the hands of a clock. Tick tack. Running. Flying. What is time? Time is imperceptible, a strange term, something intangible. With Eclosion time comes to life. I know - I've been writing and working on this album for 2 years, and this is just the first song. I didn't release a whole lot last year because I was writing the new songs and mixing the entire album myself. I've got a year full of music coming for you though!
