Lied was not a part of Tony Evans, public speech. And no one should be Analyzing what , Sin Tony Evans, commited. But we all should work on ourselves and be thankful for the free gift of salvation from the LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. John 3:16 / James 4:00.

God gets All the glory but he uses man. So he Can thank Pastor Evans.

It is the Holy Spirit that regenerates and sanctifies. While humans are used In the edifying of the church. It is God who changes the heart, opens ears to hear and eyes to see. So God used Tony but without him giving you faith, you would not have come to faith.

Thank you, we are so quick to put someone under the bus. David slept with married women and committed all kinds of sins, but yet God said he had a heart after him. We all come up short and everyone has done something. So unless you’re Jesus, so talking and start praying. God’s people have it’s not the time to criticize but to pray. I’m so happy when I was going through, somebody took the time to pray me through in difficult times.

I have learn the word of God for more than 30 years . I am from the same South America where his former wife came from . He is gifted God has used him enormously. I do believe what you mention . He went ahead and make this public, someone is involved. Prevented a blackmail. Other than that was no need to make this globally public . Years ago God forgave him , the Holly Spirit gave him favor to continue preaching . Whoever was involved or others was fixing to expose him . He gave a step before this happened. There is no sin God will not forgive. WOW ! He was shaken by the evil one . Congregation always pray for your pastor . The devil is attacking the chuch . For the people who might be confused or spiritually disillusioned by this mega-Pastor (that society tends to put on a pedestal) 🙄stepping down, what Marlon said is of value. The fact that there's so many unanswered questions left out there by Evans is by definition, condemning.

He has caused a lot of hurt and paid to the people. He needs to be fully exposed! He posed as a pastor.

Love this. I was thinking the same thing. God says we will know other believers by their spiritual fruit. Dr. Evans has always exhibited a lot of spiritual fruit, but it would be delusional to think he is a man without sin. The only human with that title is Jesus! Praying for Dr. Evans, the people of that church and his family!

And your church was wonderful for stepping up and supporting and loving you as a young sister in Christ who had stumbled and fallen. They reached out with a loving hand and pulled you up. I’m so glad the Lord restored you sister. You are correct we should confess our sins. I don’t think it’s required to confess publicly but confess and be accountable to someone. If Dr. Evan’s is trying to get ahead of something, only he and God knows for sure.

here's the problem, he never said what the sin was, now people start to imply their thoughts, we confess our sins to God, and the person we offended, it's not my business what the sin is, only to pray for that person deliverance, for sin is sin!

Yes, God forgave David of his sins, but David paid a hefty price for it with sons who raped and killed and had David on the run for a while his son tried to steal the kingdom from David! There is a price for sin. We've lost sight of that principle.

@@LifebytheHorns406 Thanks to the administration here for allowing me to post my own expressions of thoughts on the matter. Yes of course, firstly Mr. Evans teaches two main damnable heresies. One a phrase he himself has taken the liberty to coin as “Trans-Dispensationilism”. Please do your research on it yourself. It just will take too much time to type it all in detail. This false teaching has been around in heretical Christian circles throughout the last few decades but to my knowledge has never had a title. The second would be, he also teaches a form of occultism. A magical mystery type of religion found in Roman Catholicism and other false religions such as Hinduism. He speaks of a magical force that can be harnessed to gain power. This can also be found in part with the false teachings of the NAR and their heretical agenda in attempting of stopping the second coming of Christ in their “Seven Mountain Mandate” theology. I stated “in part”, because there is an element of the NAR’s teaching in his heresy here. Evans calls this the “Kingdom Agenda”. These teachings are nowhere found in scripture of the holy writ and are deceptively and in stealth being introduced by him while deceiving multitudes. Deception of the simplicity we find in the one true Gospel and the word of God itself. The bad fruit spoken in the word of God telling us we can discern of these men and women of course can be seen in his own life because of these false teachings. His daughter and his refusal to exhort her on breaking the biblical mandate qualified for teachers and pastors. To the contrary, he openly affirms it with joy. His refusal in not rebuking Kirk Franklin in his worldly antics as a false convert. It brings me no joy but only a deep sorrow to speak of these truths. Now sadly, he most likely will be covering his sin and start a damage control agenda to try to gain sympathy. A sympathy mostly, to those whom have been already under his deception for many years. 😢 He is of Antichrist and as we have no sympathy for the devil, we need to be careful that our sympathy for him will only be found when he has truly repented. Will he call himself out as a false teacher and a false convert to the masses he has already deceived for decades? It’s extremely doubtful, but he needs to be in our prayers. Only time will tell. Not only this but given his age has experienced much and not brainwashed. If you so much love black and brown people then you care about the issues that impact them. I don’t care what ethnicity they are if you TRULY love then you care. Does not the scripture tells you this? Which is why the Quakers were the first to condemn chattel slavery because they knew violated loving God and loving your neighbor. I expect the world to be unloving but all you hear about now is the ideology that you stated on racial brainwashing. The Bible say we love in actions not with words. This is why the Good Samaritan is so vital for people to study so they can understand what loving your neighbor really is. I suppose they could have all walked past the man laying hurt on the road , wounded and robbed and SAID They loved him but it was the least likely that actually had compassion on him and helped hm. Sometimes the wounds of our neighbors are not in scars and wounds that can be bandaged up but are are hurts, pains, needs. I have never heard him speak about shaming white people or race baiting. Nor do I think that he overly focuses on race as this content creator suggests (don’t bare false witness) . For over the many years in ministry I can say he has been balanced in all of content , not focusing on one particular thing. Now I pray that whatever he did that he is sincere in his repentance and that grace and mercy be given to him so that he can be restored according to God’s will and timing.

Did you hear the beginning of this video or read the statement that came directly from Tony Evans. He explicitly stated he stepped down due to a past sin. I'm amazed there are so many comments like these trying to make an excuse for him.

The true believers circle the wagons around the offender and will go to no ends to justify what ever happened . I personally think it is a love child that wants to come forward and be recognized but they will figure a way to explain it away.
