If there was just one voice that I could magically have, it would be Tony Hadley’s. Unique, powerful and beautiful, a true gift. This is a lovely duet.
Lily Gonzalez you are born to music!!! AMAZING… Vocals, percussion, you have rythmn through yr bones!! Such a pleasure to watch you on stage with Tony Hadley, Liverpool Phil, 12/03/22. I was mesmerised by your vocals, percussion imput and dance moves!!! Fabulous to watch - utterly spellbound by yr contribution. You were amazing!!!! The only other person to make me feel sooooo appreciative at a concert was Gordy Marshall the God of Drums for the Moody Blues - also soooooo amazing, i was mesmerised by his performance. I felt the same about you… Tony was Great but YOU were ALSO xxx Moody Blues Great but Gordy - TRUELY PHENOMENAL!! Thank you for an entertaining night 👍😘 xxx
That Golden voice never fades...I wish Tony had written more of the songs and had more power or influence within the Band and would have more pull now to get the original back together
Lilly, I‘ve seen you on Costa Favolosa (the floating nursing home, you surely remember) in early October this year. Besides Tony, there were two things, I kept in mind: The lame people who seemed not to know a single song you sang and you! You blew me away! When you sang this song, I had goosebumps. You’re a fantastic singer and percussionist. All the best and merry christmas!!
Mother Doesn't Know Where Love Has Gone She Says It Must Be Youth That Keeps Us Feeling Strong I See It In Her Face That's Turned To Ice And When She Smiles She Shows The Lines Of Sacrifice And Now I Know What They're Saying As Our Sun Begins To Fade And We Made Our Love On Wasteland And Through The Barricades Father Made My History He Fought For What He Thought Would Set Us Somehow Free He Taught Me What To Say In School I Learned It Off By Heart But Now That's Torn In Two And Now I Know What They're Saying In The Music Of The Parade And We Made Our Love On Wasteland And Through The Barricades Born On Different Sides Of Life We Feel The Same And Feel All Of This Strife So Come To Me When I'm Asleep We'll Cross The Lines And Dance Upon The Streets And Now I Know What They're Saying As The Drums Begin To Fade And We Made Our Love On Wasteland And Through The Barricades Oh, Turn Around And I'll Be There Well There's A Scar Right Through My Heart But I'll Bare It Again Oh, I Thought We Were The Human Race But We Were Just Another Borderline Case And The Stars Reach Down And Tell Us That There's Always One Escape Oh, I Don't Know Where Love Has Gone And In This Troubled Land Desperation Keeps Us Strong Fridays Child Is Full Of Soul With Nothing Left To Lose There's Everything To Go And Now I Know What They're Saying It's A Terrible Beauty We've Made So We Make Our Love On Wasteland And Through The Barricades And Now I Know What They're Saying As Our Hearts Go To Their Graves When We Made Our Love On Wasteland And Through The Barricades
