I never finished the game and will like to know 2 things.. Can u ride the car u win by betting with the dude? How do you open the world so u can keep riding cuz it was all closed for me?
You're playing the PS2 version that's the old gen version it misses key elements in the story there is three times the story in the PS3 version and Xbox 360 version but because you have the old gen version it couldn't have as much story in it as the newer counterparts one you cannot you cannot drive the car that you win by beating Eric Sparrow in the 360 version and PS3 version it establishes that you give the keys to your buddy Spencer the guy who bails at the beginning of the game on the stair set you give it to him and he wrecks the car because of the stick shift and he doesn't know how to drive it into the world isn't open for you because you were playing the PS2 version
Damn i always had it for PS2 but in some cut scenes i always saw the world open and connected and never knew why it wasnt like that for me, thanks for clearing the car part i never even remember just that i went to this space center and did alot of stuff with Bam Marguera.
@@UvilleraMente yeah some of the bamstuff was cut out like him taking your wallet on the roof so when you do the mission and he says wallet in your confused it's because they cut out that one scene
@jonomo111 too long. and i barely play this game any more and once you took over the abandon skate park and get sponsored you basic completed the game but you can finish the rest by getting sponsored by more people. But i decide to just forget about it and play the game for fun...
the sudden speed ups are a little weird and the way it catches to grind also, also the earlier games had an arcade feel to it in which if you took one grind ramp or something it was always designed to have this combo, example you grind the bench to grind the sign to grind the wire to jump to a rump rinse and repeat, the latest level designs are as if you threw a bunch of objects and called it a level without a flow.
+JEEVES635 The new game looks better graphically (it's sharper and has better textures) , but the environments are too empty. Proving Ground has more character.
It's not just that. The physics are so damn bad-looking. As is the camera. I have no problem with empty-ish environments. I played the first two Tony Hawk games just fine, and still do.
Heidi Weissenhorn Nice try assuming that I'm a Skate fan. I like how the new game looks. This game just looks shitty. There's a fine line between floaty physics being "arcade fun" and just messing up the gameplay. And in case you didn't notice, this game was not about being an arcade experience. You can tell they were trying to simulate what Skate was trying to be, an urban-styled, revolutionary skate game that was supposed to redefine the franchise and the genre, not fully realizing that Skate is a different experience entirely. My fun with Tony Hawk games ended with Underground 2. I gave P8 a chance. Wasn't too thrilled. HD was alright. I can only hope this new one is as good as it looks.
JEEVES635 LOL! I'm sorry to burst tour bubble, but thpg was released one month after Skate... Making it impossible for either to copy each other. And yes, it is an arcade game. Ask Tony Hawk himself, he'll tell you. Also, how old are you? To be complaining about graphics on this game is something one of those whiny 14 year old PC kids would do.
