Unfortunately the content from the Netflix is a Joke festival was copyrighted so I had to cut it out at :31 and 1:46. Bert's comment that was cut out was “I wish you guys knew everything”. The full video is behind a paywall on the DrPhil website. Sorry guys :(

Tony is tiny and was bullied a lot as a kid. He's obviously insecure and demands respect at all times. I've seen every episode of KT multiple times. The band was fun but inconsistent. Tony is absolutely correct about the silliness. In fact, I believe Tony held back for once in his life and refrained from expressing what many of us agree with - that the band was annoying. Let's focus on the silliness for now, even if that's what the audience wanted. Although I haven't watched every episode, the awkward silence that followed spoke volumes. In my opinion, Jeremiah attempted to steal the spotlight with his immature antics. While Tony engaged in conversations with audience members or guests, Jeremiah would rudely interrupt like a petulant child seeking attention. Instead of addressing his issues with Tony directly, he resorted to childish microaggressions and idiotic behavior. I may not know what was happening behind the scenes, but many of us, including myself, perceived it that way. The uncomfortable silence from the audience only added to the awkwardness, making them likely feel uneasy being there live. Tony's intention for the show was to provide exposure for up-and-coming comedians through the bucket draw. Naturally, he, or anyone else, would be upset if the show's purpose was undermined. Some may think Tony can't take a joke, but that's not the case. He's clearly frustrated because the band's and Jeremiah's childish behavior was overshadowing others. In my view, the AI sketch reminded me of the frustration and lack of respect Jeremiah displayed when he appeared on the show. It was evident that he couldn't conceal his true feelings, indicating that the underlying problem is a lingering grudge stemming from Jeremiah's behavior.

As a long time fan of Kill Tony this isn't shocking at all and I think Tony pulled his punches on Jeremiah. Jeremiah always was stepping on Tony's jokes and interrupting the format of the show. Jeremiah is also very liberal leaning on the political spectrum and Tony leans more Libertarian/Conservative. This divide was noticed and greatly increased during covid. I think the coffin in the nail in their relationship was the fact that Jeremiah was apologetic to Peng Deng after he attempted to cancel Tony's career. Jeremiah was always very open about his desire to be on SNL, and his concern about how some of the content on Kill Tony May jeopardize that opportunity.

Honestly I got into kill Tony during Covid 2021. I can’t watch the LA episodes because I find Jeremiah specifically unbearably unfunny. Even the stand up on the spot shit I skip any part with him in it because he’s painfully unfunny and obviously using his guests to gain any sort of notoriety. I think Jeremiah deserves the full brunt of Tony’s rage for the rest of his pathetic career just for how he acted on KT so consistently. But also he’s just genuinely not very talented as a comic. And he doesn’t seem to be getting better. His mark normand impression was OK. I do think Tony could have used more class to preserve his own image. But Jeremiah’s climb to fame deserves to be as arduous and annoying as possible as the way he tried to start his career.

2:30 I agree with Tony here. Sometimes they would butt in and mess up the flow of things. They were kinda in their own world a bit too much. The format now IS absolutely more focused on the bucket pulls

Thanks. I actually gained respect for Tony when I watched this video. He nailed it. Yes, the bucket pulls *are* the show, and yes, the former “band” was distracting from them. Also, the ratio of jokes that they told that got even moderate laughter to the jokes that got silence or near silence was probably 3-7 at best.

How people can think tony is likable or a cool guy is beyond me...

I thought the same to be honest. You have to see him in an interview outside of a show. You'll see the roast persona is very different to the person. He actually seems like in his every day life he'd be really kind but, brutal at the same time. He reads as high functioning autism to me.

I think it's because beside him bragging, he will also compliment others but stay real if he doesn't like something. People who know also tend to state how friendly he is behind the scenes. He actually gained my respect when I found out the things he had done for others but never talked about himself. He seems to be a kind guy who knows when to be hard and keeps it real enough to know when to help and when to let go

He let Redban have a good time during the last episode without being a complete buzzkill so that was cool. He’s been my biggest turnoff of the amazing platform he has.

Tony being acknowledged and crowned as one of the kings of roasting is wildly inaccurate imo He's roasts are predictable, cheesy and often times dry and condescending instead of comical. Tony having the body of a 14 year old, pestering voice and undeserving self confidence makes him an easy target, its very suspicious no episodes release of him actually getting brutally humiliated. He likes to bully people, why name the show "kill Tony" if its not roasts focused on you?? He claims its a kill bill reference to train deadly comedians but his Input lacks structure, detail and planning to help these people. LAST BUT NOT LEAST : Tony had a spray tan for the roast cause he's pale tomato paste the day after😆 This roast meant so much to him, what a clown.

Honestly, I'm more empathetic with Tony here. It seems like the disruptions were just so frequent it was changing the show into something that Tony never intended. Must've been incredibly frustrating.

You’re totally misreading the situation. Jeremiah is an insufferable person, I hated him on kill Tony. He was the “steal the spotlight” king when he was on the show. He cut people off constantly and tried to make it all about him. I just don’t think Tony likes him. It’s really that simple

It's not rocket science. Tony attacks other people so well because of the way he feels about himself. The most damaged people are only happy if they are damaging others.

People who ' get in one of their moods' should be checked.- especially when they're the ones in power and especially when the objective is to be funny. Jeremiah is a true creative- he must have really struggled with the bullying
