I wasn't surprised that Theo interviewing a race car driver was interesting, but I was surprised by what a great sense of humor Tony Kanaan has. Good Podcast
Didn't know this guy but seems like a solid dude. Intense, competitive and well grounded besides his status. Love getting to know people who excel in things in life and are honest about their strength and equally honest about their weaknesses and open enough to share it openly. That's a good human!
Always love the non-comedian episodes, Theo! It's a nice break from all the other people's podcasts I watch (and still love) where it's a lot of industry talk for a lot of it. Keep it going man, gang gang
I lost my dad to suicide when I was 10 years old and I also didn't attend his funeral due to the fear of being traumatised. I've never heard anyone else explain the same reasoning for avoiding their parents funeral. It was quite comforting to hear actually! Excellent podcast once again Theo 🤘
@@speacialkay726 If you don't mind me asking, did she also feel it would be traumatic for her? I knew what funerals were and I didn't like the idea of them. I wanted to to feel a sense of relief understanding why it happened, not mourn more than I already was doing.
I never attended my Mom's funeral. She died of Alzheimers and near the end she didn't know who I was anyways. She created alot of Chaotic times for Me because of her disease and I was so pissed about it. The other factor was her side of the family were a bunch of backstabbing lying worthless hillbillies that were the last people I wanted to see or hear while trying to mourn in anger.
Small cars, Toyotas especially are the most commonly driven vehicles in that country, it’s better to blend in and move in a fair amount of anonymity as opposed to turning yourself into a giant advertisement by driving an Escalade or Suburban.
@@Dirt_Merchant but it is funny tho, as Corollas are seen as cheap reliable cars for north american young adults, but down here is used to blend in the president of the republic with a super market sub-manager that can afford one of those.
@@D9Beats I was already going to get up early and play some Elden Ring before work but definitely not after 4 and a half hours of sleep that sucks! I need cigarettes now
I love that Theo doesn't hesitate to interview lesser known and everyday people, like the turkey farmer! Loved Tony Kanaan's stories esp bout his dad. Not a nascar fan but he's now on my radar to follow. Well done Theo!
These weekly podcast give me something to look forward to and I guess almost a reason to keep on keeping on . Love you brother . Theo Von’s that Humble Hollywood hitter for us regular folks . Theo out here repping for the south .
What a fantastic guest... and such an interesting interview! His dedication-to and sacrifices-for his craft are very inspirational. This was just one of those episodes that left me smiling.
Holy shhhh this guy popping in my sim racing stream one time and I didn't know who he was till after haha an absolute legend though, those Indy cars are terrifying
Just wanted you to know you bring so much light to my life beyond short term highs i might seek elsewhere. So thank you for your bravery and vulnerability 💚
I saw Tony years ago talking about his first experiences driving in America I believe with Dave Despain and instantly was a fan of Tony the man before I ever watched him drive . What a great personality and a great human being!
Wonderful episode and love the new racing merchandise. Love you buddy and I hope you are living your best life. Keeping pumping out those hitters for us to enjoy baby. Gang gang. 🤟❤️
My dad and I always pick a top 3 every Indy race since we went in 1995 and since TK started he's always been in my list. Such a great dude and fantastic driver. Thanks Theo and Tony!
Curious of the dynamic between Theo and Tony, I was amazed by the connection. Tony Kanaan has a lot of stories with some great lessons behind. From a Priv security POV, revealing your cards is never ideal for example someone cannot shoot through his windows but there are even cheaper methods such as m*lotov that thieves can prepare for. Awesome ep love Champ Tony !!
Wonderful to see how these guys engage. Nice interview. Its fantastic to witness interviewees getting Theos humour and Tony just rode it. Great convo and great interviewee . What a beautiful guy. Theo" I worked at one and I stole"😅🤣😂 Tony wasn't expecting that. Theo has no filter....at all.
Guaranteed, TPW interviews will get you interested in people you've never heard of and topics you've never even thought about. Always impressed with guests and Theo's interview skills. Get upstairs!!!
Listen to the first 100 TPW episodes with no guests. Theo is Picasso, Einstein, Shakespeare and Jesus. Theo is the most under rated comedian in history.
1:29:40 "Man, you don't get to fight a lion very often... unless you're doin' like Wizard of Oz and do a boxing thing." Theo with those under the radar hitters. Loved this one.
Always thought indy cars were crazy and cool. Never followed the sport though, but interesting insight in this format. Theo bringing the guests we didn't know we needed. 👊 🐀👑
Man what a great interview! I think Theo had a bit of a realization when TK was talking about relationships. Also love that Indy car is getting more attention!
