Seriously it’s like how many people work for the company. What if the guy just wasn’t working out? They’re not there they don’t know. We forget WWE fires people all the time. No one seems to care lol.
Why are people up in arms about Sullivan? My best guess is he wanted to keep the Ric Flair thing in and the guy who supposedly fired him wanted it out because of Reddit or some shit. People must understand that businesses need to MAKE MONEY. Focus on that. The neck beards will never be happy.
I feel like Kaz's future in the biz is assured. He's a great performer, he's a great backstage guy, he's got the knowledge and experience to be a great coach and/or producer. And man I am so looking forward to part 2 of the documentary, part 1 was fantastic and the rest of it is going to be just as great.
@@philo2189 I could see her entering the women's rumble at number 30 and going 10 in minutes in the final 4. This would be a great way to lay some seeds for a future feud and she could be super protected by the other ladies. People like asuka, bailey, charlotte, bianca, etc. Plus they could give her some eliminations to make her look strong. I really think that would be ideal. And you could then milk her official debut for a little while after that. Like, I feel like people forget that you don't have to be an incredible worker to be a great wrestler, it just takes proper booking to accentuate strengths and hide weaknesses.
I know some are upset that Roman couldn't bother to show up for "Tribute to the Troops" last night to show some respect for the men and women of the armed services and their veterans... but it was a really good rerun of Blue Bloods on TV last night and MeTV showed a rare episode of Hogan's Heroes. So he had a legit reason and will be there next week!
Isn't he allowed to do heel shit like this though? I feel like you guys are acting like he's got to be John Cena and he's a heel... Whichever babyface they send to the moon after they beat him... That's the guy that shouldn't be allowed to miss Tribute to the Troops, and that's got to be a mostly working champion. You can't have your audience resent your babyface but they can resent Roman, this is all actually beneficial to the plan oddly enough. Now honestly I wish he'd show up a little more but A.) How can we miss you if you won't go away? and B.) It really hasn't been like this for very long, for all we know this is just his way of taking a vacation without leaving the WWE for a year. All in all we are just now starting to get agitated he's not showing up, so I feel like they can stretch it out a LOT more just to get him super villain heat.
The AEW hate train bs by haters & wrestling news continues but that's wrestling I remember less than 2yrs ago it was WWE hate & they could do no right every1 needs to sthu & just enjoy wrestling f the haters the ratings watchers & the doomsdayers Have a good day all non hating wrestling fans tribalism sucks
@internetwrestlingexpert well, there is a HUGE effing difference here....when WWE fires talent it's usually because they've decided that the particular talent wasn't actually worth the contract they MUTUALLY agreed too and they (wwe) no longer want to pay for the contract they agreed to....Punks firing was after multiple altercations (and it doesn't matter who you or I or anyone thinks "started it"), that's a firing with cause NOT a firing because we've decided the contract we mutually agreed to doesn't "work for us anymore". That is a HUGE difference. .... and for full disclosure: yes Punk is a draw. NO I don't like him, and never have. And although I occasionally watch wwe, I'm an AEW fan from before AEW even existed (I was a fan who watched the original All In in 2018) ..... this firing was production and even covering it is stupid!
Aew firing talent warrants getting shit on because there show sucks and they get rid of top stars and choose stupid little pricks instead. Wwe let's job guys go.wwe also isn't dying like aew is
@@michaelfitzgerald5207 wow alot of words to be wrong about my point. Nobody mentioned punk, it's about the general idea that when aew fires anyone it's not a big deal but when WWE fires anyone it's the worst thing ever. Many times when aew talent goes you hear, they'll find work on the indies, but WWE fires someone it's people need jobs how dare they, fans are scum
It was once said, all publicly is good publicity. Yeah he's controversial, but for these big companies to still sign him, means there's more good than bad with Phil.
Also the energy yall have wheb wwe fires 100 employees yall talk so tenderly about them. AEW lets go of 2 people in the span of 3 months and its meltdown season.
@@jordanmortrud2890 Exactly, which is why the let go hundreds during pandemic. 100% asshole move that puts people and their families in trouble, but their fans are ignorant. Then, now, forever.
@@poopyanalbumhole A lot, actually. Just less houseshows. Doesn't change anything about the fact that it was a dick move and completely selfish act from a company with record profits. Vince keeps yapping about WWE universe and dedication to his employees but would rather have them starve then lose dimes from their pay. The fact that most of them got employed again right after the lockdown ended shows the company needs them and this wasn't a long term thing. This was during one of their best economical years, btw. Just incredibly evil behavior that would get any regular entertainment company cancelled.
@@giantotter319 if you owned a business would you want to keep compensating people who aren't good at there job. Seems to me like you've never worked anywhere
Hey there that's actually false. If we want to be super strict Influenza aka " The Spanish Flu " was around in the 1920's and people were all wearing masks and shit, it's earie. So if you are at least 100 years old you were alive the last time America experienced something comparable to covid almost exactly. Again, eerie.
Now that we can clearly tell the wwe doesn't give a shit and letting him throw shits at aew. Do yall get it yet? CM PUNK WASNT THE PROBLEM. HES NOT THERE ANYMORE AND SHIT IS STILL GOING SOUTH.
I mean, the E is notorious for taking shots at other companies, not sure who would be surprised about this. And when it comes to Punk, we didn't have any news about people being attacked over spot that someone didn't like. So i'd say he was the problem in that.
@@giantotter319it's always an excuse with you aew fans. Yall just can't admit that y'all were wrong to pin ALL of aew problems on punk and that it's still been a mess since he left. Have fun with the cope 😂
Pretty sure nobody ever said that, in fact in his first run he seemed to be over with everyone. Shame he screwed himself. Of course, AEW and WWE change from Good to Bad whether Phil is in them, that's how it works with his fans...let's see how they will handle his firing/retirement...wonder which one comes sooner.
For someone grifting Rhodes on how he's the doer of everything AEW, Toni's got a bad habit of not handling things and diverting blame to others. Take charge, son.
Thats the bs I heard like Zelensky saying Ukraine is winning the war which their not another batter last night from Putin's Russia WHERE ARE YOU ZELENSKY WINNING MY ARSE.
They pretty clearly rushed to the finish because she couldn’t go any longer. Hoping she’s okay, I’ve been enjoying her run this time around since she hasn’t been in the title picture the whole time.
The Jaguars also had $22 million stolen from them by a financial employee over a 4 year term. Him and his dad don’t really notice much until it’s outta control.
I like AEW. But let's be objective here. Things aren't looking great for that company for the long term. My subjective opinion, however, is that either Khan will be gone, or the company folds. Either way, I hope yhings change there to steer it's course to something better for everyone working there.
I’d be over the moon if WWE and TNA have a relationship going forward and have wrestlers go over to each show. Especially now impact has became TNA I feel like it’s only right WWE let Aj wrestle for them and continue to trade talent between brands 🙏🏻😂
AEW production was awful in a way that hurt the product. The quote you read implies that it's from one of the top-level AEW guys - EVP or something similar. Not that I trust Tony Khan to actually hire someone who fixes the problems, but there were problems that needed to be fixed.
As much as we think we know, we really dont know much about the day-to-day business involving the back stage operations. Theres usually tons more we have no clue about
We need to know why Kevin was fired, was it backstage politics or a legit reason? Really makes a huge difference as to whether or not this is wrong, I mean for all we know he was busted downloading kiddy porn on his work computer.
@@giantotter319 no obviously phil got sour there & didnt want to be there anymore. Im talking about the ppl who said once punk got fired that everything will be smooth sailing.
@@poopyanalbumhole Buddy, you keep changing the narrative every other day. I thought he kicked everyone's ass - but he also was bullied? You can't have both, mate. Shows how much you people actually know about the situation. More importantly, they fired Punk because he assaulted his boss in the middle of backstage over a stupid argument. It's not for egos - it was to get rid of a guy who can't act like an adult and is a threat to the company's people. In the end Punk stood up for himself every single time and that's what he does, doesn't mind hurting the company in the process. It happened in WWE, happened in AEW, how long before he doesn't like his sandwich or something and gets fired again?
Dont worry bros, a cousing of the bucks has been hired to be joining the production team He has zero experience, but is a bucks cousing, he will do just fine 😂😂😂
you can't tell me tony khan didn't deserve it this is the same guy who needed a disciplinary committee to fire cm punk instead of firing punk with nobody's help it goes to show you that tony khan can't do anything without help it goes to show you that tony khan has no balls.
Not really the case. While it's true he's very dependent on his team and whatnot, in case of Punk he needed others because TK is a huge mark for Punk and would probably forgive everything, which Punk knew. Others had to step up and explain to TK that no draw is worth keeping a violent backstabbing snake in the locker room, or to even let him run a show.
@@Llo834 Never said it was a good thing, this situation lead to Punk being brought back in the first place which is arguable the worst decision aew did in its existence.
Oh yeah WWE, just hand him EVERYTHING when he doesn't deserve it, without him earning it and EVERYTHING else, him taking shots at almost everyone who DEFINITELY DESERVES it MORE than him, and EVERYTHING else, because they've earned it, and he's just going to have it being handed to him, yeah that's not going to come back and bite WWE in the a**, which that's complete sarcasm because it will, with there possibly going to be backstage heat, and so much more negative that will end up happening if EVERYTHING is just handed to him when he hasn't done nothing except returned and promos, while everyone else has worked their butts off for months/years, and they're pushed to the to the side for someone big who hasn't done anything for the company for years, way to go WWE, you really know how to screw your superstars, there'll be nothing but chaos that will end up happening, because they would be making CM Punk in Oldberg, Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair, and The Rock 2.0, and that would make people turn against him even more.🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Yes no wrestling company has ever brought in a big name and shot them straight to the top before. It has just definitely never happened ever in history.
This is fucking hilarious. If I knew having CM Punk back in the WWE was going to cause some of you guys to get this mad I would have been petitioning for him to come back years ago. God damn it's the gift that keeps on giving. Legit I didn't really care at all he was coming back but in the short course he's been back his surprise debut and his promo skills have made me a believer. I didn't watch AEW so I just didn't know he was an incredible promo, now all he's got to do is back it up in the ring and I'm fairly sure he can do that at this point.
