Now I feel kinda silly going out to see Orthodox Crimson this summer afraid that "they won't be around forever etc.," these extra-Crimson shows from the last 5 years look so much more exciting to attend

I've been seriously considering a NS electric stand-up. I've been watching tons of vids to get an idea of the sound. I'm impressed. Any players our there play one? Is it a decent replacement for an acoustic bass?
