This father and son duo is awesome. My little brother has been incarcerated for 23 years for a crime he was falsely accused of. I have been trying hard to help him in everyway I can but life as I got older and my health is not as it was when I first started with so many doors kept closing. I still try my best to do what I can I'm 53 and he is 12 yrs under me. I keep telling my brother to keep hope that he will get out of the hell hole he was put in for a crime he didnt commit. I am so proud of both of them and especially for Tony Jr. Keep doing what yall doing for the young black males who dont have anyone fighting for them. We are from Detroit, Michigan and no one dont give a dam about the truth in my brothers case just that they got one les n***a off the streets. My prayers are with you guys. 🙏

Thank you Lewis men for continuing to tell your story! I'm proud that you keep fighting the good fight for not only your dad but others who are still incarcerated. Wow!!! God has you covered! I am a product of that era in the DMV, my kids fathers were in the game, also had state and fed time... my brother, and other friends and family. Its not easy to disclose but I will do it here... that I've had to travel to many federal prisons across the country to visit the men in my life. From Lorton VA, to Lewisburg PA, to Petersburg Va to Springfield MO and several other jails and prisons.. FOR YEARS!!!! It wasn't easy or cheap! The impact of the crack era was devastating and affected us all whether people want to admit it or not. Talk about PTSD.. sheesh! GOD BLESS YALL! KEEP GOING... DC or NOTHING

I understand your statement, but the drugs in our community destroyed both the user and the sellers. Having lived in the late 80s and 90s and being from west Baltimore I can tell you that the culture and being a part of the drug trade was the norm.

But I heard DC was bad in the 80s and worse in the 1990s, and then the father was in different prisons and he met with a lawyer who was the modern day Harriet Tubman and they fought to free him. But I don't believe I heard why he was in Prison. But the son is very eloquent I did catch that.

When I see guest like this from the 80’s drug yester years who killed/destroyed so families and communities - ask them “how do you feel about citizens in those same communities who chose to work hard for the little that they have that SNITCH or call police when you are up to no good in said communities….” That show you if THEY CHANGED OR NOT.
