He has the strings of his fiddle possibly tuned up a semitone, superb playing!!!

This is exquisite, with a fabulous choice of tunes to boot. Too bad there isn't much of Linnane's playing around save on that classic album with Noel Hill. Does anyone know when this was recorded or what the circumstances were?
